The staff was great, very helpful and caring. The place is surrounded by nature and is a great base for hiking and trips to waterfalls. If you don't have your own vehicle, you can take advantage of the wide range of activities they organize.

The location was perfect, breathtaking view of the natural beauty, which gave us much-needed relaxation. The staff was very friendly and looked after our interest from the time of arrival to our departure. Like the other comments said: staying here is an unforgettable experience. We were lucky enough to be here when the two sons paid a visit to there mom (the woman managing this homestay) and we felt like we were part of their family. Very friendly and welcoming. And one of the best sri lankan food we tried, everything is homemade. The bed was good and the place is very quiet, we had a good sleep. Kumar (one of the son), works for hostel so he knows all the little things that make a good stay. You're really 5mn by walk from the railway, which was very convenient for us. Thanks for the hospitality, I hope I may come again

Incredible experience with a family that wants to make sure you get everything you need and more. They served us a delicious dinner to our choice and a perfect Sri Lankan breakfast as well. As a bonus they took us to their land to show all the fruits/tea/herbs/seeds and roots they grow including explanation and answering all our questions. This is better than visiting a plantation open to public! In front of the hous you can even walk down to the almost drie river and climb the rocks and enjoy the brilliant view. For people driving the scenic route from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya this is THE spot to stay overnight.
