We recently had the pleasure of staying at this remarkable homestay tucked away in the heart of nature. From the moment we arrived, we were amazed by surroundings, all the beautiful details and the tranquil ambiance that enveloped the entire place. Our stay at The Yala Lodge was absolutely incredible. We had the great honor of being the very first guests – and it truly exceeded all our expectations. The villa and its private pool were so stunning that we actually postponed our safari by a day just to enjoy more time in this beautiful place. The villa is spacious, tastefully designed, and offers a breathtaking view of the lush greenery and pool. One of the highlights was being able to observe some wildlife right from the property – a truly special experience. The staff was extremely friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring. Every meal was prepared with so much effort and love, and the food was fantastic. Communication with the very kind owner, Pradeep, was smooth and easy. He also provided us with great safari tips. Since we had to leave early for the safari (at 5:30 AM), they even packed us a lovely breakfast to take with us – such a thoughtful gesture. The rooms were spotless and met high Western standards – beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly throughout our stay. All in all, we were absolutely thrilled with our experience. If we ever come back to Yala, there’s no doubt – we’ll stay here again! Thank you so much for this wonderful stay!

Nice location - just few steps from the beach. Room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. AC was working great, hot water system also. Room has protection against insects, so nothing gets inside the room. Owner is super helpful, showed us the hotel, beach and surrounding area. He can also arrange the safari for you. There is a restaruant in the hotel serving tasty seafood (we had fresh lobsters). Definitely a great spot! Fully recommended for everyone!

    A great place to stay and would definitely recommend.

    A great place to stay and would definitely recommend. Large comfortable room close to the pool, with restaurant and plenty of cold beer. We were very well looked after and nothing was too much trouble. Anyone looking for a visit to the National Park should consider staying at Tringa and booking the tour with them as they will make sure you have a great experience.

    The villas are spacious, lovely seating area outside. The place is nice and calm and the beach a few steps away is really beautiful and wild (even though in February the waves were too big to swim there, but the walks in the morning and evening were really nice there). We really enjoyed the breakfasts and especially dinners Shehan prepared for us, lovely seafood and fish paired with good wine which is rare in Sri Lanka. Shehan really took care of us and it felt like a home away from home.

    Santha and his family were so lovely and warm. The location is great for safari and checking out some of the beautiful beaches nearby that are basically empty. We did the safari with Santha too and loved it. We are both ecologists and Santha was very knowledgable about all the animals and also knew all the tricks for getting the best out of the safari without the 4am start! Highly recommend

    Kirinda Heaven Is closed, we arrived at kirinda Heaven (now Is called Kirinda Paradise) and the new owner said as that Is not available kirinda Heaven beacuse change the holder, but unfortunately advice us before our arrival.

    There was a family running the hotel who are very friendly and sweet! The location is perfect if you are looking to go to the Yala Safari. We had a home cooked meal for dinner which was great!
