Breakfast was exceptional and included, the evening meal was outstanding, order your drinks so they have them in, our preference is bottled Lion beer and ginger beer shandy, refreshing in the heat I read other peoples reviews and I had to include this homestay in our trip, Hungama doesn't attract the usual tourist but it was quite convenient to Yala and easy to access Bundala national parks. Our host, Sagara, took an hour out of his day to walk with us which was interesting and informative..

The place is so peaceful. The garden leads straight to the beach, with fishermen working in the mornings, no tourists at all. Our room was clean, but the best part was the view from the bed , straight onto the sea The owner is very careful and welcoming, prepared breakfast early, as we liked, also gave us advice and helped us organising safari tour in Yala Scooter rental on point too

This place is set on a beautiful very quiet beach. The rooms were huge with an amazing view of the beach and sea and the balcony was also very big! We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel, breakfast was good and dinner too with plenty of options available. The staff were very welcoming and very friendly guys!
