This was a very relaxed hotel. Atmosphere was very chilled. The service and food were really nice and the breakfast was especially nice to.

Kings villa 30 min away Center definitely one of the best places we stayed in Sri Lanka. A haven of peace and tranquillity in a beautiful area of Kandy. the beautiful Villa. The staff were very kind and welcoming, we had a tour of the garden and got to sample some of the many fruits, Vegetables Breakfast is filling and great. Set in a peaceful garden jungle away from the hectic street of Kandy away from that hustle and bustle Was great to have a refreshing swim in the pool. If I came back to Kandy, I would happily stay here again.

Absolutely lovely room- done up to modern tastes, wonderful breakfast, and Mihri,who looks after the guests, did a sterling job and looked after us very well. There is a supermarket and small bakery right next to the hotel.

The room was neat and bathroom clean enough. The caretaker Pereira was extremely helpful. There is no breakfast or food service, plates and cutlery are available. The family room was spacious, a double bed in 1 room and a single bed in the other smaller portion. Quiet and good for sleep.

A wonderful place to stay to visit Pallekelle Stadium and Trinity Rugby grounds. If visiting Kandy ideal quiet place away from the Hustle and bustle of Kandy town. Kandy city is about 30 minutes away by Bus or car. It is a very clean quiet place with very friendly and helpful owners and staff. Excellent value for the Room rates charged. Food was Reasonably priced and very tasty. We ordered Sri Lankan Lunch and Dinner. Bytes for snacks was excellent. Very well made Sri Lankan Tea. Towels and Soap were provided. Beautiful view of the Kandy Hantane Mountains Range. The place is located 100 Meters from the Kandy to Mahiyangana Road.

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with a kindness and attention to detail that is rare to find when traveling. This is not just a place to stay — it’s a genuine experience, deeply connected to nature and to the heartfelt hospitality of Sri Lanka. The location is simply enchanting: a peaceful haven surrounded by lush greenery, breathtaking views, and a profound sense of serenity. Every detail, from the common areas to the rooms, is designed with care and respect for the environment, creating perfect harmony with the surrounding landscape. A special thank you goes to the wonderful people who made our stay so memorable: • Dilshad Farook, the naturalist, who passionately guided us through the area’s rich biodiversity, turning every walk into a small adventure. • Malindu, the manager, always present, professional, and attentive to every need. • Dharma Sri, Sandeepa, Asanga, Marlon, always present, attentive, ready to assist us with warmth and discretion. • Ravindra, the chef, who delighted us daily with delicious, authentic dishes prepared with great skill. • Mahanama, our driver, kind, reliable, and always with a smile, making every journey safe and pleasant. Serenity Villa is amazing. The people will do anything they can to help, despite the language barrier. They were so helpful, friendly, attentive, kind and happy. They even helped to arrange a private Ayurvedic massage for my wife and I last the house. The property is nicely laid out, the garden well maintained and the food is fantastic (the owner is an experienced chef who worked in 5-star hotels for 20 years). We really enjoyed our stay at Serenity and if/when we come back to this part of the world, will eagerly stay here again. Highly recommend.
