We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location is perfect — close to everything we needed. The place is very well maintained, clean, and comfortable. What made it extra special were the hosts, who treated us like their own family. Their warmth and hospitality truly made us feel at home. Highly recommended!

What a host! We arrived very late and tired from a long journey. We were instantly welcomed and greeted with refreshments and a friendly face. He organised for food to be delivered to the accommodation, despite the time. The bed was extremely comfortable with a lovely view from the balcony to drink your morning coffee with. The following morning, the host provided lots of useful information and interesting historical facts about the local area (and Sri Lanka in general). If we visit the area again, we will be coming back to MistHill Rest!!

My recent stay at Salzburg was a masterclass in hospitality. From the moment I arrived, I was enveloped in a sense of calm efficiency and quiet luxury that set the tone for the days to follow. The cuisine was both inventive and grounded, with a seasonal menu that showcased regional flavors prepared with finesse. In all, Salzburg offers an experience that transcends mere accommodation. It is a place where time slows, and every element is curated with care and consideration. I look forward to returning.

The hotel is situated on a hill overlooking 24 hectares of tea plantation, surrounded by luscious mountains. It is the perfect combination of peace and isolation amidst a breathtaking scenery. The hotel staff are very attentive to guests’ needs - be it booking car transfers or showing the best hike routes in the area. This place is a gem and we look forward to coming back.
