We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The atmosphere was incredibly relaxing, and everything was spotless. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure every need was met. A special mention to Kristian and his wife, who were so welcoming and made the experience even better. The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I will definitely be returning!

This place was the most amazing accomodition to see the trains running over the Nine Arches Bridge. I came to Sri Lanka because I wanted to see this amazing view from this hotel. I would recommend you to make a reservation sooner because this hotel is pretty popular.  When I arrived it was pouring and cold, but blankets were provided and the shower was hot enough. The room was very clean, so I think it's probably a new building. I was traveling alone, so when I asked about transportation and any other questions, the host, Upali replied to my emails right away and helped me. Upali arranged for me a very helpful taxi driver, Niranjith. And thank you for making a lot of wonderful breakfast every day. even though It was so delicious, I’m sorry to I couldn’t eat it all. This is a lovely place and I'm really glad I stayed here, but I was most glad to have met Upali! Upali was very kind and reliable person. Thank you so much for everything. It was a lot of fun thanks to you.

Cannot recommend this place highly enough. Obey and his team went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and welcomed. The location is perfect - a short walk from the Main Street (but still quiet at night) and also within walking distance to Little Adam’s Peak and Nine Arches Bridge. Obey helpfully arranged transport for us to see the sights (for reasonable prices) and had great advice on where to go. We had the best breakfast so far in Sri Lanka at Obey’s - definitely try their Sri Lankan breakfast. So filling! An added bonus is that they have a laundry service which is quick, very good and reasonably priced. The rooms are clean and comfortable - with air conditioning, a fan, hair dryer, and complimentary fruit basket.

A very nice hotel in Ella. The rooms are large and clean. The manager is extremely friendly and courteous. He always asks if everything is okay and responds immediately to any requests. The breakfast is delicious and offers a wide selection of local and international specialties. The hotel is in a great location. It is secluded, so you can enjoy peace and quiet, but the main street is only a few minutes' walk away. The view is spectacular. We would definitely come back again.

One of our favourite places in SL, had much more of a town feel. It is touristy but just means lots of place to eat. The hikes are amazing and were one of our favourite parts of our trip. Beware the scammers when going up Ella rock - it's a little confusing to find the path and locals will try to lead you away from the main path to 'guide' you

Ella is a wonderful place to explore.

Ella is a wonderful place to explore. It’s very clean and has breathtaking views everywhere. The people are kind, the local food is amazing, and it’s perfect for families, friends, or groups. With easy access to Nine Arches Bridge, Little Adam’s Peak, Ella Rock, and tea plantations, it’s an ideal base for a week of sightseeing and adventure.

People are really friendly and welcome tourists.

People are really friendly and welcome tourists. City is very small, but attractive. The 9 arches bridge is a place everyone would like to visit. Food available in the restaurants are really testy in a reasonable price. The train ride to ella was a memorable one.

It is very safe and tourist-friendly, nice climate. not hot, not tool, cold. Nice view of the mountains. Lot of foreigners. Food and services are mostly for foreigners which is not too hot, a good mix of local and international food, but very reasonably priced.

We loved the Mountain View’s.

We loved the Mountain View’s. The Main Street is a little crowded and all of the walkways are uneven. Everything is on a hill and there is a lot of walking . Stairs do not have handrails. The sites to see in the city are not easily accessible without transportation. Tuk tuk rides are very bumpy. Most of the tourists in the city are young . As an older traveler over 70, I would not recommend this location to an older adult unless you are very healthy and have good stamina for walking, heat, and bumpy rides.

Ella is in the mountains so there is a lot of walking and lots of stairs and climbing. We saw young back packers as the majority of visitors. It was hot and humid so drinking water was very important. The tea plantation tour was good and informative. The arches trip involved a harrowing drive up a narrow bumpy road. Waterfalls were always full of people. The town is great with lots of dining options and great shops!

Staying at Crystal Springs Luxury Hotel, Ella has been an unforgettable experience. The view from the room was absolutely magical waking up to misty mountains and peaceful greenery felt like a dream. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive, always ready to help with a warm smile. The room was spotless, beautifully designed, and truly lived up to the "luxury" in the name. Thank you for making our stay so special we’ll definitely be coming back!

it's location is prime time..Just off the ella main street.. eveyrone in the hotel from Mr.madhu at the front desk to the people working within are all very friendly and helpful. we got a room at the top of the hotel which while a good climb also had a very pretty view.. all in all relaxing place..

Amazing property, our favourite in Sri Lanka. The room was huge and so so comfy and the bathroom was amazing! A real spot of luxury in Ella. The breakfasts were more than substantial and the staff was so lovely and kind. Highly recommend!

It was the perfect place. The view is amazing, the staff really nice and helpful. The breakfast was great. We felt like we were getting a luxury stay for a really low price. All amazing, I would recommend to anyone going to Ella.
