We stayed for tonight’s after arriving in Sri Lanka. Very nice small hotel, free pick up from the airport in Colombo. Everything went smooth and easy. The service from check-in , to the breakfast and dinner was amazing . The food is excellent and affordable . The rooms are big and modern and super clean. The team organized us their driver to get to Colombo train station to continue our journey. This was very helpful as well. Even it is not a five star hotel the service was near to that !!

Amazing stay ! The personnel was great, helpful and kind. The piscine is perfect to swim ! The food is delicious, and the cottage is very comfortable and spacious We could not have spent a better last nights. Also great quality per price ratio !

A very nice accommodation located near Negombo. I would definitely recommend it to anyone either leaving Sri Lanka or just arriving. It’s a perfect transit point because the accommodation meets European standards – not only in terms of equipment, but also cleanliness, which is on a higher level than what is usually found in Sri Lanka. You won’t miss anything here – and at the same time, you can enjoy the authentic Sri Lankan atmosphere all around (nature, local life, traffic, and friendly people). The place is very clean, the garden and pool are always well-maintained, and everything works (air conditioning, TV, fans, fridge). It has a great location – close to the airport and just 5 minutes by Uber to the beach. The ride to the beach costs only 340 LKR (approximately 1 euro). The owners are truly kind people, and it's easy to communicate with them about anything. There are also two lovely, clean dogs and a cat on the property. The food here is excellent. For lunch and dinner, you can choose from about eight different meals, which change regularly. There is always a choice – from local Sri Lankan dishes (including fresh fish) to European-style meals, so everyone can find something they like. The owners buy fresh ingredients every day.

Everything about this property was amazing and well above my expectations. The service was nothing short of incredibly friendly and attentive. In particular, assistance with my luggage and thoughtfulness with regards to flexibility and late check out options was so appreciated. If you’re seeking a quality, yet economical property within close distance to the restaurants of Negombo and easy access to the airport, you simply couldn’t find a better choice than JMF. Lovely hotel experience in Sri Lanka. It set a quite high standard for the rest of our hotel selections. The owner had international background, so she understands customer's needs more easily. We had our first local Lion Larger there. Love every moment staying in Maria's Villa.

I was one of a group of 8 people who stayed for 2 nights in 5 rooms at the hotel. We all agreed it was a perfect stay. The staff are friendly and helpful, the breakfast is amazing and the pool provides welcome respite from the Sri Lankan heat. It is well located, being close to the beach and restaurants. We would highly recommend Villa Kapuru.
