I had an amazing stay 🌿 The cabins are beautifully designed, super cozy, and offer breathtaking mountain views. 🏔️ It was the perfect place to relax and recharge. It’s just a 20-minute walk to the upper waterfall, and you can reach the lower waterfall by motorbike – both are absolutely stunning! 💦✨ I also went on two unforgettable hikes in the area, surrounded by incredible nature. 🥾 The hosts were so kind and attentive, always making sure everything was perfect. 💛 The only downside was that the bathroom could have been a bit cleaner, but honestly, that’s a small issue compared to everything else. Highly recommend this place and would love to come back! 🌸

We walked up to Sherwook Rock from the accomidation and would highly recommend great views from the top and no other tourists. We also walked along the railway to Kelliebedde tea lounge would highly recommend it was a lovely walk (not very long and through a tea planatatiin) and great cafe to sit in for cake and tea.

We really enjoyed our stay here! It was the ideal place to relax and recharge after the buzz of Arugam Bay, and a great base for a day trip to explore Ella. The place was spotlessly clean and super comfortable – we felt right at home. The hosts were so kind and helpful, offering tuk tuk services and even giving us clear pricing for transport andl tours. They also asked us each evening what we’d like for breakfast – such a lovely touch – and it was always fresh and delicious. The facilities were great, the vibe was peaceful, and we couldn’t fault a thing. Highly recommend if you want something welcoming, clean, and well-run!

The location is just a short walk to the amazing beauty of natural pools of Diyaluma waterfalls. Watching the sunset there is one of our core memories in Sri Lanka. The accommodation is more on the simple side, but what makes up for it is Imantika (pardon the spelling:)) and her family. They are the definition of kindness and their hospitality is something that we haven’t encountered anywhere else. Thank you for having us and wish you many more satisfied customers. Comfortable accommodation, love the cabin style. The hosts are lovely, I would highly recommend their curry dinner, it was delicious, best we’ve had in Sri Lanka and we’ve been travelling for 3 weeks!

The service was one of the best we’ve ever experienced. Everyone was extremely attentive and took the utmost care of us. The food is another big topic: it was exceptionally good, so I would highly recommend having lunch and dinner, even when it’s not included in the fare. Lastly, the location and the view were simply stunning. From the hotel itself you can explore the tea plantations without any other tourists (unlike in other tourist hotspots). Moreover, some of the hotel employees may join you on hike and show you some nice trails.

Great choice for Haputale. Good location, good breakfast and dinner, possibility of refilling your bottles with purified water (less plastic), great view (and possibility to sit in- or outside) and good facilities in room and bathroom. Next to that very useful help by the young man and he also arranged some things for very reasonable prices. And his mother cooked great meals! So it doesn't happen too often, but for us this was 10 out of 10! Really recommended.

A very comfy stay! Nice room that has my own entrance. Host and family made me feel so welcome. Highly recommended if you are passing through Wellawaya, which I highly recommend too.The area is beautiful and the Buduruwagala statue/carvings are gorgeous, one of the highlights of my trip.
