The accommodation is located near Sinharaja Forest Reserve in a beautiful valley with farms, fields and a lot of animals. We could see peacocks, fireflies and many bird species just outside on our patio. You get a lot of privacy in your villa and a great view over the valley. The villa was perfectly clean and the bed was also very comfortable. The hosts take excellent care of you while you are there. The meals we got were perfect - real local Sri Lankan food. We also did a short hike with the owner into the forest reserve which was a fantastic experience and we saw a lot of wild animals and took a swim in the river next to a waterfall.

The whole experience was amazing. From the warm welcom through the beautiful room with great view. And Hemel , the owner that is a gifted guide to the rainforest. So kind and nice and at the same time knowlagble and quick to spot every living thing. They are a young couple with a little girl that own and run this amazing g place. For us, it eas the high light of our Sri lankan adventure Thank you both!!

The villa was beautifully designed, clean and comfortable, offering the perfect setting for relaxation. Nestled amidst tea estates, the location was both tranquil and rejuvenating. Situated between the Pitadeniya and Kurulugala entrances of the Sinharaja Forest Reserve. We absolutely loved the food. The Location is very beautiful, situated in the jungle in a small village. The family was incredibly kind and made our stay feel like home. We had delicious homemade, traditional dinner and breakfast. The house is close to the entrance to Sinharaja Forest and they recommended us a great Guide who spotted lots of animals and showed us many ayurverdic healing plants. I can‘t recommend this place enough :)

This place is amazing! We totally fell in love wit this place. We booked the big family room upstairs and it is really big with a very nice balcony with amazing views on the river and jungle. The outside lounge bed/swing was favorite by our kids. Breakfast and diner was also great. The owners organised also a tour to Sinharaja rainforest for us with a very good guide. Cooling down in the river in front of the hotel with al the little waterfalls made it perfect. Very good value for your money!

    We did not visit deniyaya village at all but the area close...

    We did not visit deniyaya village at all but the area close to the rainforest is beautiful...the great thing about it is that it has not yet become touristy so everything at the moment seems more local and real. Not to expect too much from food,just simple local homemade

    Super.

    Super. + Simplicity is the tranquility and friendliness of the owners. Owner took us on a forest tour and showed us a lot of animals we'd never seen alone. The complete visit with the waterfalls was the most beautiful.

    Close to Singharaja Rain forest.

    Close to Singharaja Rain forest. You have also some good tourist spots which everyone can enjoy. Choice of restaurants is less. All are basic with nothing flashy. If you are depending on public transportation it is well connected to Galle and Matara from where we can get Highway buses to Colombo. Not developed as a tourist place

    Fantastic location to visit and stay couple of days for relaxation. Visiting Sinharaja forest , Patna sliding rock , off road ride to sliding rock and Sinharaja entrance at mountain peak could be very exciting.

    Fantastic place I have been many times. the property has a bridge to enter that is broken for months now. no way a vehicle can enter or go up to the ticket counter due to this. vehicles should be parked about few KM off the site. Sinharaja is a heavenly place.

    Staff was very helpful. The trek they arranged was super. Nature at its best. A world heritage site Sinharja Rainforest entrance is just a two minutes walk. A key river of Sri lanka is boardering the hotel. Rooms are clean and comfortable. AC or Fan was not needed.Food was very good. Will definitely recommend this place and will come back again.

    Definantly the best food we had in all Sri Lanka, also the owner was very nice and super helpful with all our questions. The tour guide be booked through the hotel was awesome, he knew a lot about the forest and spotted animals we would have never even noticed. We really enjoyed our stay and would gladly come back.
