In 1 word 'amazing'. Susanna is a wonderfull host who goes the extra mile for her guests such as helping with a Safari boat trip (which only 200 meters from the accomodation), complementary snacks and a home made limoncello after dinner. The self cooked dinner as the breakfast was top notch and we've had the best coffee. The pool and rooms (with inside and outside shower) were really nice.

It’s tucked away down a back street but once you’re there it’s such a good find .. free boat ride back and forth across the river make it super easy to get to the most beautiful beach … the staff are super helpful .. it’s a very simple but lovely breakfast too every morning..

We enjoyed great breakfast (fresh juice, eggs, toasts, fruits and delicious coffee), clean pool, comfortable room, 2 minutes boat-ride to the beach and the most precious "feels like home" atmosphere! Lakmal, Morin and the hole family are so great, lovely people. The accommodation is nice, close to the beach and to restaurants. We felt like home and also our kids felt very welcome. We can highly recommend staying with this family.

We loved the host and their hospitality. The whole family was very friendly and helpful. We booked the room at 4 pm and they made sure we had it available within under 1 hour. The breakfast was amazing and there was nothing to complain about. It was a new property and it was clean and tidy. The host had a Three-wheeler and was always available to drop us anywhere we wanted.

Great apartments right on the river. Comfortable and spotlessly clean. Amazing western or Sri Lankan breakfast. Superb hosts very friendly and welcoming. Easy walking distance to beach and resteraunts. The accomodation has its own tuk tuk to take you and bring you back free of charge if you don't want to walk. Highly recommended.

This is the best hotel to stay for a vacation. The staff are really kind and helpful. They are always ready to help us. We received the amazing service from the hotel. Very nice pool. Clean rooms, comfortable beds. Everything was same as the pictures. Breakfast and dinner was so good. Specially dinner. They prepared it accordingly to our wish. The person who talked with me was so nice, so kind. He s name is Insaf. He is a great guy. He made my trip so easy. I really appreciate his effort. Other than that remaining staff are so kind. We received great service. I highly recommend this hotel for people who is looking for peaceful evenironme and excellent service.     Aluthgama is a reasonably quiet town,. İt offers a bustling shopping area with plenty of local shops that provide the necessities of life without the over abundance of tourist style outlets. Local transportation as in tuk tuk are plentiful and very cheap. İt is surrounded by beautiful open spaces showcasing the areas natural beauty. İt is however a two hour drive to Colombo airport.

    Location was great, staff extremely friendly & super helpful!! Boat taxi to the beach was a highlight as was the river safari - a MUST DO! Our room was lovely but aircon not working so we were moved immediately & we also had a fridge brought up to our rooms. Can’t fault their service at all.
