The room was beautifully furnished, with local decor, fresh lotus flowers and local crafts. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and went out of their way to cater for our every need. The restaurant service was excellent, as was the food. The packed breakfast for our 5am sunrise visit to Angkor Wat was amazing. We were welcomed with an ice cold towelette on our return after every excursion. The hotel also arranged local and airport transport at very reasonable rates. The pool and gardens were also beautifully maintained. The photos on their website are a true reflection of what we encountered, unlike many other hotels and guest houses.

After a good walk to Siem Reap city. It was a delight to check-in . We're greeted with great hospitality. The room was well decorated and spacious. Swimming at pool, after a long hot day visiting the beautiful temples. We thank you for wonderful hotel staffs for making us feel comfortable, safe, and welcoming.

Rooms are spacious, the gym well equipped for a hotel, with sauna, steam room and even a cold plunge. The breakfast was great (but will need to go for coffee elsewhere). The in-hotel masseuse was the best out of all the places I have been in siem reap. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

This hotel is truly luxurious! The staff are exceptionally polite and friendly, always ready to help. The room was elegantly designed, with a bed was great. The spa treatments were relaxing and professional. The service was fast and seamless throughout my stay. The pool is enormous, perfect for lounging or swimming, and the parking is very spacious. The food is gourmet-quality—every meal was a delight. Highly recommended!

A firendly welcome from the staff who answered all our questions and helped us with booking car with driver for our trips. Room was lovely and spacious. Housekeeping ensure our rooms were well maintained. Breakfast was decent. The rooftop car and pool was nice to relax. 7/11, hair saloon, laundry service, bike renttal were right outside the hotel. A walk to the night market and pub street. Also thank you for the birthday cake that was sent to our room. it was a lovely gesture.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Anansaya La Maison in Siem Reap, and I must say it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The hotel staff, including David, Daro, Stephen, Marie, Long, Mr. Sophat, Mr. Rorth, and the Angkor Wat tour guide Mr. Nat, truly went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. Their exceptional service and warm hospitality made us feel incredibly welcome throughout our entire visit. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with genuine smiles and a heartfelt welcome. David, the hotel owner, personally greeted us and wished us a pleasant stay, as well as checking in throughout our stay. The attentive and friendly staff members, especially Daro, Stephen, Marie, and Long, were always on hand to assist us with any request we had. Whether it was providing recommendations for local attractions or arranging transportation, they were knowledgeable, approachable, and dedicated to ensuring our comfort and satisfaction. Their friendliness and willingness to go the extra mile truly made us feel like valued guests. Mr. Sophat and Mr. Rorth (as well as many other drivers who we did not get the names of!) who are the hotel's dedicated Tuk Tuk drivers, were instrumental in helping us navigate Siem Reap. The whole driving team, including Mr Bin, the airport transfer driver, were so safe, welcoming and friendly. Their expertise and enthusiasm were evident as they shared insightful tips and recommendations, making our experiences truly memorable. We so appreciated the cold towels and coconuts One of the highlights of our stay was the Angkor Wat tour guided by Mr. Nat, whom we had the pleasure of booking through the hotel. Mr. Nat's deep knowledge of the temple complex, combined with his passion for sharing its history and cultural significance, made the tour an enriching and unforgettable experience.

Travelling to Siem Reap during the wet season is great if you can plan a longer stay. The land is lush and green. It rains mostly in the afternoon and for only 1-2 hours. Low season means lower prices. Angkor archaeological sites are less crowded. Enough indoor activities for wet-weather like visits to APOPO, Lotus farm, Kun khmer gym session, museums, shopping etc.

I love Siem Reap so much I have come back time and time again. Everyone is so friendly, helpful and makes you feel at home. I recommend walking along the river and grabbing a bite to eat from one of the vendors. Also try Tevy's restaurant you won't be disappointed. Everything is cooked fresh to order, so you have to wait a bit but its so worth it.

Siem Reap is wonderful: a unique place and one of the most special in the world. It has plenty of bars and restaurants and a lovely riverside area. (The variety and quality of food is among the best I’ve experienced in Southeast Asia) It’s also very bike-friendly, with many dedicated cycle lanes (one extending pretty well all the way to Angkor Wat.) The Angkor Wat archeological park is amazing. If you have time, my advice is to go for the seven-day pass valid for a month. That way, you can spend a day or half day at Angkor, break it up with time in Siem Reap, and instead of suffering “temple-fatigue,” from trying to see too much in too short a time, really appreciate how special the place is. And, for me, the best way to see it is by bicycle. The terrain is flat. The roads are (mostly) good and quiet, and there are many cycle lanes. There’s plenty of cycle hire places in the area. I used Bayon MTB Project. The man who runs it is real bike enthusiast and is always working on maintaining the machines, which, in consequence are in very good condition. If, while in some remote part of Angkor (or anywhere else) you should have a puncture or other problem with your bike, he’ll come to you to fix things. He and his wife also do a lot of work with children in the area. Basically, then, good people, good bikes, good prices and great service.

I love nature / gardens so really enjoyed what was on offer around Siem Reap. Highlights were the Botanical Gardens, Butterfly Paradise, Angkor Silk Farm, walking along the river, tuk tuk rides into the countryside. Morning tea at old Raffles Hotel was also lovely, they have lovely garden and flower arrangements inside.

Siem Reap is an ideal place for those who are interested in culture, history and architecture. Even though the temples are in ruins they are magnificent. Angkor Wat is not the only important attractions. There are several equally interesting and fascinating temples in the viscinity of Siem Reap.

Cambodian friendliness and the help, flexibility and kindness of all the staff to make sure we made the most of our few days in Siem Reap. I want to mention all the staff by name but I cannot remember everyone: Rotha, Dalean, Sophie, Chakriya but also cleaners and restaurant staff. Helpful with tours, directions, pick ups (best scooter drivers!) Great location for walking/tuk-tuk around the city. Lovely hotel, affordable but super clean and spacious rooms.

The pool was a real highlight—immense, clean. My room was immaculate and felt incredibly cozy. Parking was big, easy to parking. Probably one of the best places to stay in Siem Reap, but in a more trendy hostel/hotel place rather than a traditional and expensive hotel. Everything is very new and very nice. It's a short walk or TukTuk ride to the busy part of town near Pub Street and the Old Market. I highly recommend you do the cooking classes and ATV tours while in town too but you might have to organise them yourself.
