Just as on the photos, piece of jungle in the city. Beautiful, relaxing, great pool, staff, food!!! The breakfast was exceptional. Great hosts, helped with our entire trip in Cambodia, even though our stay at Jungle Addition was the last stop on the list. So it seems of all the other accommodations, regardless this one seemed the biggest fullest, only here the hosts found time to give us phone numbers, answer questions and basically help prior our visit with them without getting anything out of it except for our deep and honest appreciation!!! We chatted on facebook, and they arrange pick up for us, for 21,30 pm. Then we said we could be late, ending up being early, so they immediately change the time for our pick up and our driver was waiting for us, just on time!!! Want to mention the logo design, of the hotel, the bath shampoo and conditioner. Simple yet beautiful, will catch any eye with an admiration for aesthetics. So this way I read the label and it seems all of the bath accessories were with essential oils. So I used them all, they really smelled like a spa, massage

FAQs about hotels in Phnom Penh

Cambodia's Colourful Capital

Cambodia has successfully dusted itself off from the ravages of war with its colourful capital of Phnom Penh rising from the ashes and sparkling once more. This fascinating city, on the banks of the Mekong River, features exotic markets, cultural jewels and is home to some of the friendliest people on earth.

A visit to the National Museum captures a slice of Cambodia’s ancient Khmer history and art. A different and more recent history suffocates and overwhelms visitors to Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, the former prison of the Khmer Rouge, and The Killing Fields are a short drive from the capital.

The Royal Palace is a striking centrepiece in the centre of Phnom Penh, and is home to the Emerald Buddha and Silver Pagoda. Not far away is the Cambodian Independence Monument that celebrates Cambodia’s sovereignty.

You can satisfy your hunger pains with delicious French-Indochina-inspired meals at various street stalls or classy restaurants. The riverside area has the Art Deco Central Market for a great bargain and there are a variety of bars, especially near Sisowath Quay.

Take time to walk around the French colonial streets with its mix of slow-moving monks and speedy motorbikes. Booking.com has many hotels located in Daun Penh and Chamkar Mon districts, amongst others.

    The city is diverse.

The city is diverse. Some areas are old and packed with food carts while others are lined with government buildings and universities. I was not there to sight see but just to fly out. I stayed three nights which was enough for me. I had been in Siem Reap for 2 months so it was a bit nerve racking to be in a big noisy city with traffic.

Phnom Penh is a big city with lots of noise, unusual smells and traffic. However, it is really worth a visit for the experience. We felt very safe there, got Tuk Tuks everywhere and did a tour on the hop on hop off bus. We visited the genocide museum, and did a sunset cruise on the Mekong river. Do the cruise at 6pm to get the best sunset.

There isn't really anything to do in Phnom Penh.

There isn't really anything to do in Phnom Penh. I went to visit family so got quality time with them. Cambodia is VERY expensive compared to neighbouring countries, but doesn't have the facilities of other expensive Asian countries like Singapore. Vietnam and Thailand understand tourists better and are far cheaper. My advice is go straight to Siem Riep to see Angkor Wat and forget the rest of this dirty country.

I wasn’t that keen on coming here, had to be here for a 60 birthday party. It’s exceeded our expectations, we did a five hour bike tour which was unreal visited local markets in the village, skin tofu factory and how they make it so interesting. The silk factory with a seven generation family still going strong, all by hand crazy beautiful, I bought a scarf it’s amazing. We also visited a wonderful temple with amazing art to depict the story. We are certainly coming back the people are so friendly and helpful.

City is good, though I could not explore temples. However, on the 1 day off that I had went to local markets, malls, etc. People are good and the place is not very expensive. You can find food and rides through Grab app and it is very efficient. People can understand English to some extent, though in malls and hotels, it is ok, outside it is a challenge.

Have to say the best hotel I have stayed at during my long Cambodian holiday. The room was gorgeous, large, spacious, and had a great balcony, the view was private. The bed was comfortable. The air con worked well. The bathroom was great with toiletries and towels provided. Fridge and kettle all there. Somewhere to put your clothes or hang them. Excellent location, right next to Bassac Street! I really enjoyed it and wished I had booked more nights. I didn't have breakfast as I went to another place so cannot review.

A great hotel to stay while exploring Phnom Penh! Close to the city centre & tourist attractions. When me and my partner arrived, for some reason our room wasn’t available so the receptionist gave us an upgraded one free of charge. The room was large with big kitchen, balcony & decent size bathroom. The bed was comfy with choice of different pillows provided. The pool area was very quiet and clean, so was the gym which also had all equipment needed. 5/5 would recommend!

Fabulous. We all loved this hotel. The pool is brilliant with the private tents. The pool resturant is delicious with a lovely location and view. Well located in Phnom Penh. Staff are all lovely. Loved the entrance courtyard with the fish. My son loved feeding the fish in the morning. After a hectic visit to the city, this is a great place to relax. Best place we stayed in Cambodia.
