The food The food the food: I loved fresh indigenous cuisine even though western cuisines were as delicious as the local menu. The hospitality of staff : exceptional The rooms are spacious, clean and equipped with Safe, fridge, office table, aircon, tv and gorgeous balcony. Food was brilliant. Not really a restaurant but food it's cooked for all guests. Tilapia was our meal and it was great. The host Nester (spelling?) was great fun and very helpful with our onward journey so I'd like to thank him. Loved the room, great views of Kisumu and lake Victoria.

We had a third floor room with lake view and balcony which we appreciated very much. We had breakfast on the balcony in the morning to watch the monkeys in the forest between Hotel and Lake - not recommended. They paid us a visit and we had to move inside. The swimmingpool was refreshing, staff was very nice and responsive.
