Traditional Japanese accommodation, quaint but well-equipped inside. Air-conditioning, mattresses to sleep on the floor, sofa, well-equipped kitchen, great shower with good hot water and pressure, washing machine, microwave oven, no convection oven (but inductio hob and a grill), fridge-freezer, umbrellas provided. Toilet had no heating and there was no bidet (not a 'Japanese toilet'). Separate from the shower. About 10 minutes' walk to the nearest train station to take us into Osaka. Taxi from airport 9,000 JPY. Very scenic surroundings with a stream adjacent, a temple nearby, cafe, etc.

We spent there the last night before leaving Japan. Very close to the airport and a shopping mall and outlet minutes walking away. We got an upgrade to a huge very comfortable room with a living room. The personal spoke excellent English and was friendly and very helpful.

The room was small, but it was very comfortable, well appointed (coffee, pillows, toiletries, bidet, great water pressure, quiet, close to everything, steps away from Izumisano Station, great restaurants....I honestly can't say enough about R Hotel Kansai Airport. Conveniently located near the Osaka Kansai airport, free airport shuttle every hour that could be reserved. Very modern and stylish interior, rooms beautifully decorated, beds are comfortable.
