Kanazawa is a great city, very relaxing and walkable. People are very friendly and the restaurants are great. It was a great place to visit for a few days after Tokyo. We do try the famous Noto Beef at a great low key restaurant. It was a great experience and the meat was incredible. Great hosts! Kanazawa is a very interesting place to visit. It has a similar charm as Kyoto, but with fewer crowds. We found it easy to get around the city by bus or on foot. We had 2 days here but could have stayed for 4 days or more.Guest review byElaineAustralia - 8.0

I don’t know if I needed to have stayed here. Or maybe it would have been better to come during a special time of year (firefly season or some festival). The castle area was also under construction. Kanazawa is a gem of a town.
Kanazawa is a gem of a town. We really enjoyed the Samurai quarter, it's quaint and not over-populated. Kanazawa castle is fantastic, and so is Kenrokuen garden. The museum of modern art is also compact and quite good.Guest review byGuyIsrael - 10.0

It is walking distance to the train station and lots of great restaurants and shopping. The interior decor is very modern Japanese which is lovely to still feel the local atmosphere while in the hotel. The Onsen is great, really well appointed, with toiletries on offer at the reception area. There are washer/dryers on a few floors which is also great when away for some time.
