We stayed at this beautiful resort at the end of a walking holiday, four nights in a sea view room. Everything about Le Capase is fantastic - from the wonderful and welcoming staff, the beautiful location and views, to the delicious food in the restaurant. Nothing is too much trouble, the people who work here are the thing that makes this place very special. If you can drag yourself away from the infinity pool there is a breezy open air gym, and mountain bikes to explore the local area. Or you could just relax, enjoy the sunshine and take in the view!

Amazing quiet hotel with exceptional restaurant and top quality service. This place was our base for exploring the Salento, and it served that purpose well. The staff was really nice, we did a tour of the local olive oil mill with them (which gives the resort its name) which we absolutely recommend. There's plenty of space both in the rooms as well as the grounds, and it's very quiet, perfect to enjoy either the pool or evening dinners and drinks at the wine bar. The food in the restaurant was really delicious, and they offer local typical dishes and wines. There are plenty of really good beaches less than a 30 minute drive from the place or you can just enjoy the pool if you prefer. We recommend driving around as the local village (Uggiano la Chiesa) doesn't have a lot to offer apart from nice locals. Mulino a Vento is a gem!
