Nice, quiet and authentic hotel in an amazingly green area with a small but nice pool away from the building. Old style and with lots of personality, a library to chill in, a garden to wander, and if you don't mind squeaky floorboards in the old villa, this is the dream. Staff were reserved but friendly, we felt right at home, and the staff gave guests space to just be. Fantastic associated restaurants (both La Scuderia and O'Lac), even though the breakfast was a bit plain. The coffee at the breakfast buffet was well made, and the staff were friendly. The town was lovely, and early morning walks around the lake were wonderful. Underground parking was spacious and easy to access. Traintracks run relatively close by, but the trains are so sparse that it didn't ruin the experience.

We had an amazing time at Stay Hotel. The hotel was renovated recently and it looks great. There is free parking for guests. Breakfast is plentiful with all sort of options. There is a coffee machine that is available 24/7 as well as a fridge with drinks and a selection of chocolates and snacks, which works with an Honesty System where you must write down whatever you take. The rooms are modern, clean, and spacious, with a very comfortable king size bed and a huge TV screen. The bathroom is also spacious and clean. In terms of location, it is located about 30 minutes from Malpensa airport and 10 minutes from Varese. There is not much to do on foot, but lots of options nearby if you have a car, like the Sacro Monte di Varese, Lake Como, Lake Maggiore, Milan. Overall, the hotel exceeded our expectations and we would like to congratulate the owners for doing such an amazing job.

    It’s a quiet hotel by the lake, although no coast is directly available. There’s a nice park almost next to it, might have some bathing options. It’s by a main road, you can get to the highway in 5 minutes and then to Milan. Breakfast was good, lots of options and some variation each day. Room was big, with a small kitchenette (no pots or cutlery though) and a table. Partner restaurant next door was very good, and a saver since options in the area are few on holidays or weekends.

    Wonderful, helpful staff like in the best five-star hotels! Very nice and clean hotel rooms. Comfortable beds and clean linen, which is very important for me. Good location close to the lake. Tasty breakfasts and courteous service.

    Friendly and helpful staff. Outdoor seating area with a view of the nearby lake. We hired some high-quality road bikes on site for 3 days of exploring the lakes which was great fun and why we chose the hotel.

    Beautiful hotel near the lake and a park. The hotel is new and the rooms are particular. It was comfy and well heated. The breakfast was good with a lot of choice and coffee from a real machine.
