Nice small and quiet town, easy to navigate on foot. Lots of restaurants, a few bars, but we didn't mind because we were there with children. The lift to the top of the ski run was enjoyable.
The lift to the top of the ski run was enjoyable. The view from the top is beautiful. We also drove to, then hiked the two lakes. In town we asked several locals about where to find things, everyone was friendly. An especially good place to eat is at the hotel restaurant near the green cross pharmacy. There are prettier towns in the Alps and a bit messy with all the traffic going through the town centre. But it is nice enough to spend a weekend and especially to explore the area. The cycling path that leads to Slovenia and Austria goes through the town which makes it very accessible.Guest review bybojanSlovenia - 6.0

We can use it as a base for many hikes. Nice mountain views all around. Host's mom welcomed us. She was very kind even she could not speak english well. She used google translator. :-) She even served us coffee. We only spent one day as a stop over, but we would like to return again.
