Roberta and Renato were wonderful hosts! Coming to Palazzo Pirro is like coming home - just fancier and with far better service. The palazzo itself is a gem. It has been refurbished with style and detail, respecting the multifaceted history of the place (ask Roberta to show you around and tell about the previous uses of the palazzo). Contrary to many other rural palazzi in Italy, this one is smaller and cozier. All visitors are greeted with a personal touch. The village is extremely small - only two or so streets - so don’t expect lots of life or events. But if you’re looking for a secret getaway, or just a rest in a beautiful setting surrounded by nature and good trekking opportunities, Palazzo Pirro is the perfect spot!
