This property exceeded our expectations and we wished we could have stayed here for longer. It's such great value for money. We forgot to let Gabriele know what time we were arriving so he took a few mins to come down to the property to show us around. By the time Gabriele arrived, one of his neighbours stopped by and picked fresh fruit from the garden for us to eat whilst we waited. They provide a lot of free food and drinks at the property, like an amazing mini bar but completely free. The outdoor space and the view are amazing. It's a really quiet mountainous area. They recommended a nearby restaurant called Trattoria Sottocastello and although it looked really basic, it was the best food we've had on Sicily yet. Parking is really easy, opposite the property on a really quiet street. There's a balcony and an outdoor sitting area. There's a pizza oven and a BBQ in the garden, a lime tree, plus grapes and prickly pears growing around the garden. Overall, it was amazing value for money, in a beautiful, remote and peaceful location with a very generous host (Gabriele doesn't live there, you have the entire property to yourselves). If you stayed in a town or city you'd probably pay €40 more for somewhere worse.

The apartmant was so great, everything was so clean and exactly like on the pictures. The check in is also flexible which I liked a lot since my flight was delayed. Donatella is the nicest person I met and I felt like I'm home. Highly recommended :)

The atmosphere is welcoming, tidy, and equipped with all the comforts one would expect from a B&B. The management is consistently cheerful and eager to accommodate every need. We stayed here for just one night and had a wonderful experience! Communication before our arrival was very efficient and clear, and check-in was smooth thanks to the very nice lady who welcomed us and helped us settle in. The area is quiet and peaceful, located near a lovely church whose bells ring every 15 minutes and on the hour. For light sleepers this might be something to note, but we actually found it charming 🔔 it’s nice to see the city keeping such traditions alive. The place itself is new, very spacious, clean, and cosy. We also really appreciated the small breakfast basket that was left for us 😌 such a thoughtful touch! Overall, we had a great stay and will definitely be back. Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
