We had an amazing experience. Great location, 30 minutes from the airport. Quiet country side location. The quality of the materials used in and out of the premise are exceptional. The views are breathtaking, surrended by olive tree fields. The staff, Nicole, Flora, Ciarra, the waitress-waiter are all so kind and serviable, I don't recall to have experienced such service. The room is big with a living room, bathroom is excellent and bed very comfy. Breakfast is great as well. I would recommend the hotel to anyone who wants to be in a quiet and resting location. We would like to thank all the team to have made our stay so special. We will certainly be back!

The staff were super polite and sweet! The hotel is a bit secluded and calm, surrounded by a beautiful forest with walking paths. Room was spacious and comfy. Breakfast was ok, not the widest selection but croissants were out of this world!! Must try!

For us, Bologna felt a bit too loud and crowded, but Castel San Pietro Terme was a perfect choice — cosy, with a charming old town and plenty of places for delicious local food. We spent one afternoon and overnight stay at Rio Sabbioso on our 4 day-long sea and road journey from Volos, Greece to Reading, England. Roberta, the owner, was waiting for us even if we arrived in the early afternoon ahead of scheduled check-in time. The overall setting, landscape, lush green surroundings and building premises are amazing. We were accommodated in a huge, comfy bedroom with modern bathroom, large lounge as common area beautifully renovated. The super quiet Dozza village lies only 15 min. driving off the busy Ancona-Bologna highway. For dinner, Roberta advised us the Via Vai restaurant in Dozza village which we really enjoyed. Having to leave the next morning at 4 am on our way to France, Roberta kindly organised two breakfast packs which we enjoyed eating 5 hours later on the slopes of the snow-capped Santo Gottardo mountain in Switzerland.
