We really liked the area of the hotel, it seemed like real Italians lived there, lots of different cafes and places to relax in the evening. Next to the hotel is a fabulous garden with many cultural objects, it is definitely worth buying a ticket and seeing them. The metro is also super close. There were very comfortable beds and a good breakfast.

This hotel is very cozy and nice, and you feel it once you arrive, feels like home! Everything is so neat and stylish. The room looks brand new, so every time you come back after promenade you feel super comfortable. The staff is super friendly - from guys who welcome and check you in to amazing women who serve the breakfast. When we arrived there was a guy named Umberto - such a nice Italian man who welcomed us so warmly and recommended a lot of amazing tasty restaurants. On my Birthday they surprised me and presented me a cake while we were having breakfast. It was super nice! By the way, as to the breakfast - it was quite good and tasty. If you’ve been to Europe before, you know that a typical European breakfast is not smth really special, but I guess that this hotel has a pretty nice choice. Location is just amazing! It’s only 10 mins walk to Trevi fountain, Spanish steps; the Colosseum is a bit further, but trust me you can walk there, especially with coffee&meal stops, so you’ll not get tired. We didn’t use any public transport at all. And one more important thing- the hotel is kind of hidden in the narrow street, so it’s not noisy, that’s a great bonus I guess. So, I’m so happy that I chose this hotel. Many many thanks to the guys who work there, you’re making this place special.

We loved Rome.

We loved Rome. Had three days to see it all and it just wasn't enough time. The people were very nice and polite and helped us when we needed it. I love the old streets and the history. Amazing place to visit and hoping to do it again.

Trastevere was a great location to stay.

Trastevere was a great location to stay. We booked an underground tour of the Colloseum but it got canceled at the last minute and no others were found. We paid 100 euros for a van to take 5 people with luggage to Trastevere from the airport but we found out another group pad 60 euros for 8 people.

If you want to see old city where history meets modern life, you are in the right city. The points are really really crowded so it is good to reserve times in advance. But the city and its historical parts are just amazing. You have to see the Colosseum, Forum Romanum and city of Vatican. Some places (piazza Navonna, fountain Di Trevi, Spain stairs) is better to visit early morning as in the afternoon/in the evening it is just crowd ...

We did not have enough time in Rome to see a whole lot , but did enjoy the Colosseum (except for it being so crowded) and Palatine Hill area in Rome. We tried to do a hop-on/hop-off bus tour of the city, but spent a good amount of time stuck in traffic. Rome really wasn't the main focus of our time in Italy, but it does seem to be a pretty amazing place.

Rome has never been on the top of my 'must visit' list...

Rome has never been on the top of my 'must visit' list because I always assumed it would be too busy, full of tourists and too hot. However, I found myself there because of an event, and it seems that October is a much better time to visit! Sure, there was still tourists, but not as many as the summer months. The weather is very pleasant and hot at times - we were averaging about 20 degrees celsius. It's easy to get around, public transport is available but everywhere is within walking distance in the city centre and you stumble upon more little points of interest by walking anyway. As it was our first visit, we did the typical sites. The Trevi Fountain was not my favourite (even though it was beautiful to see), because it was like a mosh pit of people all shuffling around and getting in the way of each other. You have to queue to get anywhere near the fountain itself, but you can see it just fine from on the higher steps. The Spanish Steps was more of the same and we didn't hang around there either. The Colosseum was much better. We visited around 4pm and the sun was beautiful, and the tourist amount was small. We didn't go inside, just took photos outside on the hill across the road - it was an enjoyable experience. Similarly, the Mouth of Truth was also brilliant, with a little organised queue that took around 10-15 minutes before getting to the front. The shops in Rome are okay, but we're not into shopping. They're the same shops as everywhere else, but much bigger. If you leave the main streets, there's littler shops specialising in more gift related items that are more unique to Rome. Can highly recommend L'Antico Forno, a cafe right on the Trevi Fountain, which you'd think would be expensive, but only cost 9 euro for two sandwiches! And they were the best sandwiches we ate the whole trip.

This hotel was my best stay in Italy. It was close to two metro lines and also to the Colosseum (you can literally go walking). The staff was very helpful, my room was large enough for me (individual traveller), every day when I returned the room was made up, everything was clean and they have elevators in case you don't want to use the stairs. The breakfast was simple but very good and I enjoyed very much to eat it every day. I do strongly recommend the hotel if you ever visit Rome.

I really enjoyed staying in this hotel. I had chosen a room in the annex as I wanted to sleep in a quiet place without too much people going in and out. The room was great and silent, even if it was over the busstation in Piazza Indipendenza, the windows are so thick that you can't hear the noise. And I loved the view of the piazza. The reception was nice and the breakfast is one of the best that I have had in Italy, so you shouldn't miss it. I had love to come back here :)

We had a wonderful weekend in Rome! It's a family hotel with very friendly and helpful hostesses - Francesca and her mother. The hotel offers stylish and comfortable rooms equipped with everything you need: a fridge, a kettle, a TV. The bed is very comfortable, and the area is quiet. I especially want to mention the delicious homemade breakfast with eggs, yogurt, ham, pastries and coffee, which is quite diverse for Italy. I highly recommend staying at this hotel👍

I spent my birthday weekend here (my first time in Italy) and everything was lovely! From the moment I arrived the nice lady at reception made sure to answer my questions, and even gave me recommendations on where to go in Rome (with a map). The suite itself was gorgeous and the location is beautiful. There are plenty of shops, cafes, and restaurants close to the hotel. I plan to visit Rome again next year and I will definitely consider booking here again. :)
