Excellent location to explore Sud Tirol and even Switzerland. I choose this city for mountain hiking and was very satistfied with my trails to Dreilandergrenzstein and Planmort. Beautiful mountain town right on the Italian/Austrian border. There are plenty of outdoor activities in Resia itself as well as in the surrounding towns (e.g. Nauders). I come here mostly for mountain biking in the summer - the Enduro trail network offers some of the best riding in the Alps - but have also visited for a family summer holiday. The local alpine cuisine is generally good value and offers something for everyone. Travel to Resia can be a bit tedious as it can only be reached by car and is at least a couple of hours away from every airport option/main transport hub.Guest review byasnep182Switzerland

You have a lot to do, the owner can recommend several options. We loved to rent bikes and cycle around the 2 main lakes of the region. Location is on lake coast with scenic view of lake and mountains. Room was spacy, with full size bath. Comfortable big bed. Balcony with chairs. Breakfast was awesome, same I can say about dinner.
