The room was really cosy and all windows had a mosquito protection. Both breakfast and dinner (not in price included) were very tasty and definitely recommended. We received a very warm welcome and were shown the entire area, including the pool, sauna and whirlpool. Additionally we got some helpful tips to get to Bergamo. We would definitely come again.

Fantastic hotel not far from centre of bergamo. All brand new and very modern. The staff were exceptional and very welcoming and helpful. Have been to bergamo several times and it will be my first choice on my next visit

A true boutique hotel with 12 rooms in a central location with excellent service and efficiency. As soon as we arrived, the lady at the reception came to greet us and helped us with our luggage. She was extremely helpful and proactive in organising our plans for our stay (taxi to the airport, timings for breakfast, etc) and showed us to our room and explained everything. She even gave us a luggage scale to weigh our bags for our upcoming wizz air flight. The room itself had everything we needed and was immaculately clean and very quiet on the top floor. Very comfortable bed and an amazing marble shower with three different settings and a door that fully seals so you get a lovely steam effect. Soft towels and the most comfortable bathrobes and slippers. They had also put the radiators on in the bathroom before our arrival (knowing we're from Australia and not used to the cold), which was a kind touch. Lots of complimentary amenities, including individual toiletries and bottled spring water. We also had a skylight in our room, which was nice. The design and decor of the hotel was very tasteful and elegant. There was a lift/elevator too, which is not always a given in Italy. Breakfast was fantastic, and everything was of the highest quality, no pre-packaged supermarket pastries here! The crossiants were heavenly. Included with the cold cuts, pastries, fruits, yogurts, juices, etc. was barista coffee and a hot dish made by the chef. It was so beautifully plated. My only regret was that we had to leave for our flight so we couldn't fully enjoy it. Make sure you make time for breakfast! I don't think I could stay anywhere else in Bergamo after staying at Petronilla. It's worth the extra price compared to Best Western, Mercure, etc. The staff are highly trained and the hotel is very well run. Highly recommend.

The place was very new, and I was really excited because they offered many amenities, such as parking for both regular and electric cars. The hotel is also connected to a new mall (which would be even nicer if it were fully open). The room and the hotel were both very clean and well-maintained.

Everything 👍 Thank you to Marina and Carlo for the warm welcome also when we came late. The room was wonderfully prepared and also the sofa for our son.     A quiet town but with a very good electric train/tram service into Bergamo, where you can easily connect to Milan. A couple of nice restaurants, one general Italian food, the other pizza. Two bars are located at the tram station.
