Praiano is away from the hustle and bustle of Positano - pretty much unspoiled by tourists. It’s small and quiet but that adds to the beauty and charm of the place. There are still lots of locals there who you will see on a daily basis. They are so friendly and welcoming. The views are outstanding. Favourite places to eat included Bar del Sole (great aperitivo) Le Strada for lemon pasta and Che Bonta for pizza. Praiano is beautiful, quaint, and not as busy or touristy compared to Positano, yet still close enough to get there to enjoy that pace. This is great for travellers who don't want to be right in the thick of it and want something a little more peaceful. This is a great place to spend a couple of days. To get around it’s hard with a car, but if you rent a scooter, you can get around the town as well as along the coast very easily. Loved the village.
Loved the village. We stayed on the east side of town that was quiet and easy to get around. There are many stairs which is the case wherever you go on the Amalfi coast but we are fine with that. The less luggage you have, the better. The is a local bus that can shuttle you between Praiano and Positano which is helpful. Also a larger bus line that goes up and down the coast. Sometimes the busses are full and you get passed. We experienced that in April which was supposed to be low season. Too many tourists in Positano and Amalfi. Path of the Gods offered some relief but also busy. Liked Path of the Lemons, too. IL Pirata is an excellent restaurant $$$$. Pizza place on top of the town is very good.Guest review byAnonymous

Of the 5 hotels in the south of Italy where we stayed, this one exceeded all our expectations. Here, both breakfast and dinner are included in the price of accommodation - it is very convenient. Dinners are simply a pleasure, it consists of several courses - there is meat, fish and vegetables, we have not eaten such a variety in any restaurant in Italy :))) The hostesses of the hotel are wonderful - they were very caring and attentive to us. The apartment is very clean, cozy, the hosts are very kind and helpful. Paid parking is in a closed garage, the key is given by the host and we had it with us during our stay. The jacuzzi while watching the sunset is perfect. Every detail has been thought of in this accommodation - snacks, drinks, even bathrobes. You can also rest on the public beach side with no cost, same view. Just it is a pebbles beach so better bring a good set of beach shoes. The room itself is decent size with everything you need.
