A comfortable little place with an outside space and run by a very friendly family. We started the Via Degli Dei from there and the owner kept an eye on our car which we left outside the house and gave us a lift to the start of the trek. Highly recommended for a quieter stay within good reach of Bologna. Thanks for your kindness!

Extremely helpful concierge service. Recommended excellent restaurants and booked them for us. Nothing was to much trouble. In particular the bald man with the glasses (apologies didn’t get his name)

This is a very pleasant hotel that has a soul. The owners themselves work at the hotel and are very attentive to guests, friendly, and sociable. I met a man from Scotland there who has been to this hotel more than once. The cleanliness is everywhere, everything is tastefully furnished, and there are many different interior items that are interesting to look at. Some of the furniture is a bit old, but it all looks very neat and does not cause any dislike; on the contrary, it creates an atmosphere. The staff speaks English. There are two bathrooms for every three rooms without a private bathroom. In the evening, I asked for dishes, wine glasses, and tea. The view from the window is stunning. The most memorable thing was the breakfast. In the evening, they asked me what time we would like to have coffee in the morning. I asked if it would be just coffee or breakfast. They said, 'No, it's not breakfast, just coffee, yogurt, and buns.' In the morning, I found yogurts, croissants, cookies, juice, coffee/tea. It was more than enough for breakfast, and I was very pleasantly surprised. I'm still puzzled: either the owners mixed up my booking (breakfast was not included for me), or they are just very hospitable hosts (I'm convinced it's the latter). I would be happy to return here again, it's a place with heart.
