Everything at this hotel is perfect. A beautiful property nestled on the lake. Rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable and beautiful. You will find yourself at awe every time you enter the room with the breath taking views; but what makes all the difference is the wonderful staff. Martina was a standout amongst all the stars. The Instructions on how to access the property were very clear and concise. Our host was very helpful, particularly when I had an Alzheimer's moment and could not work out how to use the shower, our host responded promptly to my silly enquiry. The owner also gave us tips on the area as well. The apartment was very spacious and extremely well equipped with all utensils needed, The complimentary bottle of bubbles was enjoyed on the balcony watching the sunset over the lake. The bus stop was very close by, as were a deli/mini mkt/butchery, and a great little bar called Peppo's bar, where the drinks are very affordable and you don't feel like you're being ripped off by tourist prices. The locals in this village we ever so friendly. Id happily come and stay here again

OH MY GOODNESS!!! Our last six days in Lake Como were a dream come true. We were incredibly fortunate to stumble across La Luna Como at the end of our adventure in Italy and words alone are not to enough to express our appreciation for all the comforts the Villa, the property and Debbie provided us, their last minute unexpected guests. We were incredibly fortunate to stumble across La Luna Como at the end of our adventure in Italy. We booked our room just an hour before our arrival, having had to cancel our intended stay on the other side of Lake Como due to extremely loud road construction just outside our room right as we were checking in. We booked La Luna Como and immediately drove over. What a warm welcome we received from Debbie, our hostess, she is a gem! The trip down the two level elevator alone was worth the price of admission! We were at end of season, therefore had the Villa and the entire property all to ourselves and we are now forever spoiled. The location of the Villa is literally right on the water with garden seating scattered across the property. We were lucky enough to have one last warm day and took out the kayak and paddle board. The view from our bedroom was unsurpassed, our bed was amazingly comfortable, the bathtub was glorious and the kitchen is a chef's dream! The Villa is spacious and combines what one expects from a grande villa on the lake with the amenities and comfort of modern day living. The ferry stop for Pognana Lario is a five minute walk along the water, very convenient for our day into Como. We had already explored the middle of Lake Como, so spent our last days just relaxing at the Villa, enjoying the peace and quiet, trying to slow down time so we wouldn't ever have to leave. Thank you, Debbie, for allowing us a most memorable stay at La Luna Como.

The location of the villa was perfect. The parking was easy to find, and all the instructions and information provided were clear and helpful. Entry to both the apartment and the garage worked flawlessly. The view was absolutely beautiful, and the apartment was clean, tidy, and well-equipped. Everything worked perfectly. Highly recommended!

    Small town on the side of Lake Como, there was a very good little inexpensive restaurant with views of the lake next to Villa Lario which was excellent. 10 mins in car to Bellagio. Stayed at Villa Lario, beautiful hotel.

    Pognana Lario is located in a peaceful area with only a 30 minute bus ride to the active, vibrant city of Como. The streets are incredibly narrow so a large vehicle is not recommended. The scenery is breathtaking. The bus also travels to Bellagio, another stunning area with amazing food and wine. Recommend trying wine at Enoteca Principessa in Bellagio. Huge selection of wines and wine sampling offered by charming owners.

    One of the most magical and serene places we have ever stayed. Admittedly hard to find but the host was excellent in her instructions and the walking pace video taking you to the front door through the cobbled alleys was a very clever touch. The apartment was very comfortable and furnished in traditional style. The views were excellent and if you walked a bit further up the path, the views from the church were even better and we even found a football practice pitch to kick a ball with a backdrop of lake Como. What more could you ask?

    Amazing location in an old village up on the hill, close to the bus stop and a little bar and supermarket, with stunning views across the lake from the living room and garden. The house had everything you could need - open fire, great shower, heating, comfy beds, washing machine clean and spotlessly clean. And Barbara and Adriano were the most amazing hosts with great communication, a lift up the stairs with our heavy bags and cute little dogs.

    Great view out of the two balconies :) Very beautiful local scenary (lake, mountains) - the main reason I chose this apartment. In under 1hr possible to drive to Como, Bellagio, Switzerland (Lugano). Apartment itself was very well equipped, clean, cozy. There was heating (November).

    The food was excellent from breakfast, through to lunch and dinner. The cocktails were amazing, staff just fantastic. Our trip was amazing and we will be going back to Villa Lario. It feels exclusive, peaceful with truly elegant surroundings. Simply beautiful
