Host and property were amazing. Giulio was so helpful, sent very clear instructions for check-in and parking and the property was available to us earlier than our original arrival time when our plans changed. Super easy to check-in with very clear instructions sent on in advance. Safe on street parking right next to the property. Facilities in the property are excellent, everything you could need and more. Very comfortable, with plenty of amenities near by - we visited the archeological park, the beach and took the train into Rome for the day. The airport is only 15 minutes drive. Highly recommend, and hope to have another visit soon!

Fully stocked, had everything you could want. Simone, the host, was incredible from the start to finish. He was gracious enough to let us drop our bags off before check in so we could go explore as well as let us check out a tad later to accommodate our flight time.

Staying at this villa was truly a five star deluxe experience. I’ve stayed in many top tier hotels around the world, but this place genuinely felt like a royal suite not just a room or an apartment. The design, cleanliness, and attention to detail were absolutely world class. Every corner of the villa exuded luxury and comfort. The host was outstanding incredibly responsive and thoughtful. Always checking in (without being intrusive) to make sure everything was perfect or if I needed anything. It felt like having a private concierge on call. The location of the apartment is excellent with interesting sights and nice restaurants just around the corner, and a quick connection to Rome only a short walk away. Ostia Antica Archaeologica Zone was Rome's key port for over 500 years. It is far larger and more historically significant than Pompei but does not have the same level of preservation. Allow three hours to see it well. Take the Shuttle from the entrance to the far end and walk back with the Museum and Cafe as a place to recuperate half way.

Absolutely worth the trip and every penny - at least if you are a history geek and into ancient Rome. It's a massive area! You are going to be surprised at the size of it - pack water, food and sunscreen! Highly recommend audio guide / guided tour as you'll miss important parts and explanations if you don't. It's a lovely area and you can easily spend 4-6 hours at the park if your legs are up for it.

amazing to visit Ostia Antica. However due to its short distance to the airport than Rome, formal taxi drivers refuse to drive and no option to pay with credict card. We have to pay extra to bribe the taxi driver to do us a favour, even through Uber service. They asked us to change the location when we apporached the airport otherwise he did not stop us even when we arrived in the airport....horrible

On second thought, we must add more to our review. We asked before booking about the time to get to the airport(for a very early flight), and the reply was "It only takes 15 minutes and we'll show you when you get here." It seemed okay, so we booked. But, in fact, it was 40 minutes, in just regular traffic. And, the cost was by taxi for 37 euros. We had to run through the airport and arrived at the gate with only 10 minutes to spare!! Very stressful and unfair to us. When it said breakfast provided, we had to prepare it for ourselves. Also, the night before, we were told that the little town had several options for purchasing dinner but the options were closed. The place to buy ticket for the bus was closed, so we walked back the 1 km., maybe more, to get back. The hosts didn't seem to think about this. The kindness nature of the hosts made us accept the situation with good humor and we tried to be positive. However, in hindsight, we were disappointed. Although thee accommodations itself and the hosts welcome was fine, we regret to say we cannot recommend booking here.

Well, IF like me you want be surprised with what you spect discover at almost 3.000 years place, OSTIA ANTICA really will amazing you! Even after visit similar places like Pompey , I’m amazing with Ostia Antica! If you have chance , take 2 or more days to stay in Ostia! And back tho the future with the PAST impregnated in your eyes, sense and heart ❤️

I was visiting to watch the Italy V Wales Six Nations game in Rome. I honestly could not believe what an archaeological historic area Ostia Antica is. So glad i found the time to visit the Roman ruins.

The place was very spacious, clean and well equipped. 3 bedrooms + a large living-room and a kitchen with enough space for 4 adults and 2 kids + your personal stuff. Vincenzo was very nice and helpful. Location is quiet and easy to access. If you arriving by car you can park it inside the property. There is a supermarket 5 min away by car, some nice restaurants nearby. 25 minutes from Fiumicino airport, 1 hour from Rome, 15-20 minutes from the nearest beach if no heavy traffic on the way.

On the plus side; great location for exploring Ostia antica, convenient to airport. Negative side; horrendous commute into Rome, noise from flight path overhead, no sound insulation from next door. Accommodation was basic but had everything you needed ( no garden as advertised, just a narrow patio and a barking dog). It was clean and internet was good.

Very cute and with lots of character! Excellent stay 10 minutes away from Fiumicino airport and across the road to Ostia Antica and next door to the fortress. We had some excellent food at the local restaurants! Great way to end our trip.
