Very clean and elegant room with a comfortable bed. Friendly staff, eager to communicate also in English. The breakfast was served in a nearby hotel but just a short walk in the old town. And it was well worth the walk, it must be best hotel breakfast we have had in Italy.

We loved our stay here. Our hosts were fantastic - thank you! Great rooms, large and airy, well equipped with quality furnishings. The fridge of water and coffee facilities was appreciated. The B&B is relatively new so maybe a few teething problems with the hot water at times. The living room to our suite would also be better with more subtle lighting but it was fine this time. WiFi was perfect. Breakfast was very acceptable - we were asked on the first day what we wanted and we got this daily at a time of our choosing. Thank you for the home made biscuits and finding us pasticiotti with pistachio cream. Room cleaning was offered daily though we didn’t need it. Thank you for leaving us ironing facilities too. We really hope we can stay here again and we will recommend it to our (nice) friends who visit Nardo regularly. Grazie tantissimo di noi 🙏

Everything!!! It was absolutely perfect, from the comfort of the room, the beauty and tranquility of the pool area, the staff who were the kindest and most accommodating, the breakfast which was always with fresh and locals products. The sunset is the cherry on the cake! We highly recommend this place for every type of holidays! We would love to come back next summer 🌞

    Nardo is a quaint town with many churches and historic sights to see. We unfortunately were there on Easter Monday and 99 percent of the town was closed, so we did not get to experience all it has to offer. One thing I noticed is their local made bread is different than other places in Italy. It’s more dense, hard and thinly sliced. It’s not my favorite. Walking around the historic center, I didn’t get of welcoming to outsiders . As people pass you in the street they don’t say “hello” or greet you. Sometimes they will look at you as if to say, “who are you and what are you doing here”. If you can put that aside, its churches are old and wonderful to see. There are several very nice historic hotels and good restaurants to experience and enjoy.

    The location was the best for us.

    The location was the best for us. Only a seven minute walk to our friends house. And ten minutes to the city center (from the apartment)inside the castle wall. The food was especially good! Not your usual tourist attraction. Be prepare for the daily "siesta". Most places will be closed for lunch. And reopen around 4pm. Even the streets are empty! But after the Rome Jubilee 2025, Nardo was the perfect place for us to relax and unwind. Thank you Simone, we appreciate your quick responses and checking in on us.

    Nardo` is a beautiful, friendly small city, with the full flavour of Puglia, but well away from the tourist crush of Lecce, Brindisi and Bari. The central historical area is especially beautiful and is in a pedestrian zone that is an absolute pleasure to walk around in. The rest of city has wide, tree-covered avenues, pleasant shopping streets, great markets and friendly people. And the beaches are only a few km down the road. Highly recommended.

    Nardo is a great place to stay if you want to be close to...

    Nardo is a great place to stay if you want to be close to the magnificent beaches of Porto Cesareo but far enough away from the general beach hotels/locations. It is small enough to know your way around and friendly enough to feel comfortable and safe. The piazza comes to life in the evenings as everyone meets up for drinks before dinner. Sit outside Cafe Parisi in the main square to have a pre-dinner drink (delicious Puglia wine) and to watch the world go by. Nardo is not overrun with tourists so you feel like you have discovered a secret place! There are coffee shops everywhere, fresh fruit and veg sold on the streets, local men's clubs and locals drinking and socialising everywhere. Parking is not a problem as you can park most places for free and walking to anywhere central takes less than 10 minutes. Having been all over Puglia these past 3 weeks, this place got our hearts! Beware of opening times - Nardo is deserted between 2-6 so you won't find anywhere to eat if you arrive late or want to eat early.

    Beautiful centre, lovely restaurants and town! The historical centre is special. Close to more beautiful cities and beaches. Good area to stay, visit Nardo itself and other towns - location is perfect! Easy to go around. People are lovely. Nardo was a good choice and we would love to visit the area again.😃

    Such a lovely setting. Great pool. Each apartment with its own private area outside including lovely swing chair and 2 rocking chairs. Beds really comfortable. Spotless. Good kitchen set up. Short drive from both Santa Maria and Santa Catarina. If you like seafood try the fish shack Frito Misto in Santa Catarina. Gorgeous. Loads of lovely beaches nearby including Porto Selvaggio in middle of lovely pine forest including cute shuttle bus from car park. And beautiful Gallipoli and Lecce within short drives.

    I loved every minute of my two night stay in Le Casette in beauty Nardò. A very spacious flat, right in the centre of the town, equipped with absolutely everything necessary. But above all, I liked most the kindness of my host, Signor Fernando. Such a nice and helpful person, a real Italian! I will definitely return. Thank you ever so much!
