These people were such kind and wonderful hosts. They made us a fabulous pot of latte coffees and snacks after hiking up the mountain. It's an oasis at the top, right beside the monastery. Delicious restaurant.

*The staff is the SOUL of this property, super nice and friendly, especially the night-shift staff. *Property owner allowing staff to make decision about room rate per situation (like hot water outage, etc.) is really appreciated because guests will definitely feel the property really concern about their comfort and benefit during the stay. This human and personal experience is somewhat distinct this property from surrounding competitors. * Breakfast is simple but super nice, lots of options available. * Super clean in all aspects.

I had a brilliant one-night stay at this lovely hotel in January. I enjoyed it from the moment I pulled into the super convenient parking space which had been reserved for me, right through to check out. The staff were friendly but efficient. My room was really great, it had a big double bed, with lots of space to move around it, and a balcony with a view over the valley. The location was ideal too: easily accessible by car but still part of the old city and only a 5 minute walk to the Duomo. Great value for money overall.
