Everything was perfect! We had a standard room with a small swimming pool, the water was warm in it and the view was amazing. The breakfast was very good and the stuff made sure we had everything we needed. 10/10. We totally recommend it.

We had a beautiful spacious room, and we enjoyed relaxing on our balcony, admiring the view of the old city. Great location: central and very easy to access by car, while also quiet and peaceful. Antonio was a very welcoming host and gave us great advice.

The resort was modern, clean, light and airy in the middle of the countryside near Noto. The staff was amazing , really going out of their way to help. We tried to have a spa session but the timing did not work out as it was only available late pm after we already checked out, we should have stayed an extra day! The highlight was the restaurant. Kudos to the chef for his delicate, delicious and well presented food. Plentiful too and very reasonable prices We ate there both nights. Fantastic

    Modica is a very old town on South-east Sicily, quite...

    Modica is a very old town on South-east Sicily, quite important for her history and baroque architecture. Getting around is easy, if you like to walk a lot! There are a lot of stairs and climbings to get to Modica Alta, but it's worth. Food is very good and there are still restaurants with good prices. From Modica you can reach the beach in half an hour by car, and you can also visit several good natural spots (like Riserva Naturale di Pantalica, Cavagrande, Vendicari) just driving one/two hours. Good craftwork as well, especially ceramics.

    Modica is a must-see if you are visiting the south of Sicily...

    Modica is a must-see if you are visiting the south of Sicily. The rich architecture majestically adorns the hills that surround the centre. The quaint streets and stunning views are simply idyllic. We were lucky enough to visit during the Easter festivities which really highlight the spirit of Sicilian culture. You are spoilt for choice with restaurants - wherever you go the food is exquisite and the service is warm and friendly.

    Modica is really cleaned and has beautiful big streets. We could visit it just by walking around. Everything was close: shops, restaurants, train station. It's family friendly. Their specialty is the meat chocolate. They have a Bubble Tea shop.

    Modica is a good base to visit not only the town itself, but also the other nearby Baroque towns in the area - Ragusa, Noto and other smaller less well-known towns. It is a smaller town and appears to be less busy than the others - parking is easier for example and there is a good urban bus service (Modica is a hill town!).

    Itria Modica owner really helped with choice of a restaurant on busy Saturday night. Ragusa Ibla and Modica were both interesting and quite contrasting visits. Particularly loved the hotel....views amazing and pure quality at an affordable price

    Modica town is quaint and has lots to offer to the tourist.

    Modica town is quaint and has lots to offer to the tourist. It can best be explored on foot though you will need a car to go from Modica alta to the lower area of Modica. Modica has many churches and eateries as well as shops and the narrow streets are fascinating and always offering lovely surprises. It is a hilly town so not ideal for the elderly tourst to get around unless they get a taxi

    It was our first time in Modica, and we chose the hotel based on photos and location — and it was a lucky pick right away! The location is very convenient, right in the center, with cafes, beautiful streets, and sights all nearby. The interior impressed me — antique furniture like I’ve never seen before. It’s really beautiful and unique, with a special atmosphere. Definitely a 10 out of 10. I will definitely come back here!

    This place is a delightful discovery, set above Modica in all its glory. The views are stupendous and the hotel is stunning from design to hospitality. Breakfast is a joy; delicious and homemade and set out for you to enjoy the view. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and explore Modica, Ragusa Ilba and Scicli.     The hotel sitting at the main street Corso Umberto I, so we can park at the opposite for free. The hotel is the old Palazzo with family-run. The decoration is so beautiful and charming with the old historic details. I stay in the Barones Room with the view on Modica’s most famous church. it was spacious and comfortable room.
