Staff was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable. The reception staff is excellent and at the checkout they gave us a free gift which was a hand cream from Aqua Di Parma . I appreciate it so much and will comeback one day just because of this beautiful gesture . Tiramisu and drinks at the bar are beyond amazing! Room was perfect and with a city view. Hotel smells great and the amenities are also very nice.

The design and entire experience of the hotel. This was incredible value and I loved every aspect of the hotel. Can't wait to go back. And unlike other hotels, the guest services team went out of their way to help me. Monica is just an absolute superstar! She went out of her way to solve problems and make the few days we had in Milan completely unforgettable.

FAQs about hotels in Milan

A Capital of Design and Style

Renowned as the world’s fashion and design capital, Milan is never short on places to see and things to experience. The stunning architecture of the Duomo di Milano and the famous La Scala theatre are just a few of the city’s breath-taking attractions. For a more intimate adventure, the Convent of Santa Maria delle Grazie with Leonardo da Vinci's “Last Supper” lets you view a masterpiece from Italy’s past.

Visit the FieraMilano and Salone del Mobile, among the world’s largest and most prestigious furniture and design fairs or have a stroll in the Quadrilatero Della Moda district to admire unique creations from the most famous Italian fashion brands: Gucci, Versace, Armani, Prada or Dolce & Gabbana.

The Navigli and Porta Romana districts are famed for restaurants and bars serving delicious Lombard cuisine and the very popular aperitivo. Make sure you try sweet delicacies at the chic Caffé Cova, founded in 1817, or another historical café, Zucca, in the Galleria.

Arriving at Malpensa or Linate Airports, you’re only a short trip from the city centre, where you can watch a game at the San Siro or enjoy Milan Fashion Week. Whether you’re staying in a chic apartment, design hotel or budget hostel, Booking.com has a perfect accommodation for your Milan holiday.

I enjoyed my stay in Milan, although it was very short (one night). I have heard mixed opinions, but each to their own, my experience of the city has been positive. Very much can recommend visiting the Pinacoteca Ambrosiana, and if you get tickets with an audio guide, do bring your own headphones (I forgot mine and to listen to the recording very quietly through my phone speaker). The art is incredible, and it was not crowded at the time of my visit (Sunday). I didn't bother going inside of the cathedral Duomo di Milano; I know it's a big attraction in the city, but it is very crowded and in my experience it did not allow for the intimacy and personal time with the art such that the Pinacoteca Ambrosiana did. Food-wise, I can recommend the massive food court at Milano Centrale, but honestly, it is Italy, wherever you go there is good food to be had. Oh yes, and ride old-style trams with wooden benches, they are stunningly well kept!

    It is a romantic city.

It is a romantic city. But going alone for just you is different. I highly recommend going with people but if you like to meet people I would prefer to meet at bars or attend a social setting to get acquaint with everyone. I recommend Duomo for the first time but after do some terrace sight seeing. The Roof of Milan is beautiful and have a romantic setting. Definitely the place to go for a beautiful view of the city at night. Reservation is a highly recommended but ask for availability when you get there if spur of the moment.

This was our first time in Milan and we were pleasantly surprised. There is so much to see with the beautiful Duomo and other sights. There is an excellent transport network with trams and metro and buses. Make sure to do any shopping before coming to Milan as Milan is full of exclusive top brand shops, so nothing is cheap. The Leonardo museum was my favourite and a great insight into the genius that he was. The Duomo museum is also nicely done.

Summer is not the time to visit Milan.

Summer is not the time to visit Milan. A lot of the attraction sites were under renovation and a lot of stores closed for the month of August. Only touristic places were open, hence the mediocre food at high prices. There also were no festivities in the city for August 15. So disappointing.

First impressions is disappointing. Our room was very used and dirty. But Sergio from management, done his best to upgrade us for another room and we were satisfied with the new one. Actually rooms should be as soon as possible renovated, because they are very used, that’s ours star down. But staff and breakfast was incredible. Location very good. Close to city centre and to many attractive locations in Milano. Ours 4 stars from 5 for this Hotel.

Specious, well equipped and clean hotel room, hotel located just few minutes by walk from Milan main train station, all the facilities are available around the corner. Going by walk to the city centre takes around 20mins which is also a good experience to get to know tge city. Hotel staff was enormously friendly and helpful. Great value for money, especially comparing to regular Melia hotels.

It’s an absolutely stunning apartment with quirky/industrial designs. Such a beautiful and comfortable place to stay! Close to some lovely restaurants and bars. The best aircon we had in Italy! You can walk to the city centre in roughly 20-30 minutes which I was happy to stay a little bit further out.

Clean room, cosy and warm. Close enough to city centre (15-20 minutes by public transport). The lift is tiny though, so be aware if you're travelling with many luggages (as every lift in old buildings in Italy).
