A really perfect stay. The hotel itself is a wonderful surprise: not only nice to stay in, but stylish to look at. Breakfast is truly splendid - it is almost brunch-like, which is quite rare in Italy. Additionally, throughout the day, hot tea and coffee are free. The rooms are comfy and generous in size. Lastly, the hotel is a 15/20 minutes walking distance from all major sites.

Excellent location to restaurants and sites. Wonderful staff. Great size room. Breakfast had good variety and delicious pastries. Parking available in garage which was secure. Rooftop terrace unbelievable views especially at night hearing the bells ringing.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel, located right in the heart of the city center, with everything within walking distance. The rooms were spacious, clean, and offered a beautiful city view. All was more than perfect. Room, staff, breakfast. And you are a few meters from the city center. Practically when you go down on the street you are in the middle of the old town. There is a small problem when you arrive with the car but we found a place place somewhere nearby.

    2 nights / days in Mantova was perfect. Its a hidden gem. So rare to be able to go to places like this with no crowds, great food/culture and atmosphere. Didn't feel ripped off, prices were reasonable. The sites were as good as if not better than Venice minus the canals and crowds. They don't call this town/city the inland Venice for nothing.

    Ducal palace and Te palace were amazing not just for the artwork but for the incredible decorated ceilings and walls. Lake tour is well worth doing. Mantegnas house disappointing. It is an easy town to walk around and see everything. The Duomo and of course the Basilica are stunning but also the very old circular church. We were lucky enough to have a walk around their library founded in 1770 and don’t miss the cute little theatre Bibiena where Mozart played.

    We had just limited time to see Mantova - in the evening after our arrival. But nice town to go for walk also in the evening, many old palaces and houses, nice atmosphere, lot of possibilities for nice dinner.

    A jewel of an unspoiled historic city set between three surrounding lakes. Virgil’s birthplace well remembered, and the setting for Rigoletto, this place was made by successive ducal dynasties especially the great builder the Gonzagas. A lot in a little and all well cared for.

    Mantova is a delightful city with many attractions. It is easily walkable & the residents are welcoming. Palazzo Te is a highlight & definitely worth a visit. We stayed 2 nights & wished we were there longer.

    Was not expecting such an amazing beautiful and cultural city. The old City is beautiful with a range of churches, palazzos, squares and buildings. Palazzo Te and Palazzo Ducale both worth visits - allow about 2 hours for each. Mantova Card is good value for these two alone - but includes 18 different attractions and museums over a three day period, including some sites in nearby Sabbioneta. Great eateries and gelato around every corner.

    Nice hotel in center. Awesome view from room on Mantova dom. Everything in town within walking distance. Garage very close where, if small luggage even don't need to drive directly to hotel. Very kind and absolutely helpful staff. Great breakfast where could get fresh brewed coffee if asked.

    Feels like a family run hotel - the staff are welcoming and friendly. We are driving around Italy in our own car and they couldn’t have been more helpful. private car park (€15 per day) and excellent breakfast. very modern interior design behind old facade.
