Despite the crowds around the sanctuary outside, inside this place of worship is peaceful and indeed most suitable for a quiet moment and prayer. The Virgin Mary's holy 'residence' within the sanctuary is indeed awesome, outside and even more so inside. Not to be missed. LORETO IS BEAUTIFUL, THE BEACH ISN'T TOO FAR AWAY- SUCH A PEACEFUL, RELAXING LOCATION- THE POLISH ARMY CEMETARY IS VERY CLOSE TO THE BASILICA, WHERE OVER 1000 HEROES ARE BURIED. SAVING THE BASILICA, THE TOWN AND THE MARCH REGION FROM DESTRUCTION BY THE GERMANS- AS MY FATHER FOUGHT IN THE 2ND CORPS THIS VISIT MADE IT THAT LITTLE BIT MORE SPECIAL!Guest review byAnonymous

We were met by the hosts upon arrival and they were extremely friendly. Fabrizio gave us all the necessary instructions and provided us with the sign so we could park anywhere in Loreto. There was even a present on the table waiting for us! The apartment is very well taken care of, extremely clean and has this homey charm.
