This is a small hotel with only 9 rooms, with a very friendly atmosphere. Angelo, who works there, is like a real angel, he tried to make our stay perfect. We are still talking about the tiramisu and pasta he made for us for dinner. This was the best dinner we had during our holiday in Sicily, highly recommended! Mazarro Beach is just 3 minute's walk from the hotel, they have their own access to the stairs from the garden. Mazarro Bay has very clean water, it's good for swimming, in our opinion much better than overcrowded Isola Bella Beach, which is also within walking distance from the hotel (about 7 minutes).

Their warmth, hospitality, and genuine dedication to guest satisfaction truly set this hotel apart. The hotel's modern design and comfortable amenities provided a perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. The private beach added an extra layer of luxury, allowing us to unwind while listening to the soothing waves. The convenience of having direct access to the beach right from the hotel was truly a highlight. The continental breakfast at Albatros Beach Hotel was a culinary delight. The variety of options and use of fresh produce showcased the hotel's commitment to quality. Whether it was a leisurely morning enjoying the view or a quick bite before heading out to explore, the breakfast experience was consistently delightful. One of the standout features was the hotel's prime location. With a beachfront setting, the views were breathtaking, and the tranquil atmosphere was exactly what we were seeking for a getaway. Being able to step outside and have the pebble beach shores just a stone's throw away was a dream. However, what truly made Albatros Beach Hotel an extraordinary place was the people. The manager and staff went above and beyond in ensuring that every need was met, and every question was answered. Their genuine care and willingness to go the extra mile transformed my stay into a memorable experience.

We stayed for 4 nights from 29th June to 3rd July and had a fantastic time. Our room was so lovely & airy with a beautiful balcony at the side of the hotel. Very clean & decor was lovely too. The pool area was in a prime position with fantastic views out to sea. The staff were so very helpful with any queries we had. Lots of good recommendations from them regarding the local areas. They were so friendly & helpful - particularly Deanna who was always so cheery & enthusiastic & a huge credit to the hotel. Her reception colleagues were also very helpful & friendly. Shout out to Ivana, Alex, Elisia & Alessandro who were so friendly & engaging but all the staff were lovely.

Property location is breathtaking and the staff go above and beyond expectations. From the moment we arrived, Danilo met us with warmth, he made our arrival so memorable and continued to help us navigate Taormina throughout our stay with advice for the beaches, restaurants and transfers. He was so helpful and made phone calls for us to make reservations in Italian. He couldn’t do enough for us. Breakfast was delicious and staff were attentive and friendly. The pool is a stunning space to relax and just absorb the stunning views. Hotel Metropole is incredible and no photo we saw before our arrival did it justice.
