We ate lunch at Easy Cosi in Barolo and then dinner at UVE. Both food and wine were exceptional. The service was great and were made to feel welcome. Found a local cafe (Le Dolcette di Montini Erika) in La Morra and was greeted warmly. This was our 3rd time in the area and it never gets old. A wonderful gem in the Piedmont! For our family it is a top destination for a city break, long weekend of even as a seasonal vacation. The views from the Piazza are amazing and the town is very picturesque . The people in the local shops are all friendly (especially the bar on the main street). The food everywhere was of a high standard and its an amazing place if you like wine. Its not the easiest area to get around on public transport though as there are very few buses (and they often weren't on time).
