This hotel was the best choice in Ischia! Paola & Dario are the best hosts ❤️ It's a family run hotel in the nearby Port of Forio. The location is perfect for families, because the neighborhood is calm and quiet, the sandy beach is nearby and there is an outside pool & thermal spa in the most beautiful garden what I l've ever seen before! The kitchen, the chef, the staff: excellent, 5 Stars ⭐️ I recommend this hotel for everyone who wants to feel the spirit of the "Ischitana" hospitality 🥰

Wonderful, sunny mini holiday in Villa Bina and the beach very close ti it (practically just stairs down - lots of them though!) Loved the breakfast! We ordered food from a restaurant which we could have at the hotel tables. Little village with good restaurants and ice cream kiosks at walking distance. Everything was perfect!

Incredibly charming house and very well located, with a thermal swimming pool and INCREDIBLE hosts! From the check-in Franz greets you like family with a traditional homemade lemonade and gives you tips to enjoy the island like a local! I came by myself and thanks to their recommendations I discovered the most amazing spots 🫶 The breakfast is amazing too with plenty of homemade goodies, do yourself a favor and try the jams 🤤 If you want to experience the real well-known Ischian hospitality this is the place to be! I am definitely staying in la Maggioressa again on my next visit to this charming island!!!

We had an exceptional stay at Casa Al Sole. The views from our room were uninterrupted. The service from the staff was fantastic. We had drinks at the bar each night and met some of the other guests. And on our final night we had dinner with a few other guests and that was quite memorable. I have already recommended this hotel to friends and family who are planing to holiday in Ischia.

Hotel Casa Sofia was an incredible stay! Christian (hotel owner) was amazing - he was so flexible with a late checkout and helped us reserve a cab for our ferry home. The room was clean and had a beautiful ocean view and a well-working AC. Breakfast was served on a lovely patio with ocean views. The location was within walking distance of two beaches and the nearest thermal baths. Book now!

We really enjoyed our stay at la Capannina, the staff is very welcoming, they gave us plenty of advices on Ischia (where to go, tips on transport, therme). The location and the view is breathtaking! Unique experience, we strongly recommend it! Moreover, La Capannina has a restaurant as well, so all services and comfort are provided in the same place. Great staff, good food, amazing view, we would love to come back.

    This is just a wonderful place.

    This is just a wonderful place. We were there in August which should be high season but it wasn't too crowded. You of course have to have some tourism so that restaurants and shopping will thrive and for us this is just the perfect balance. Not too many people "in your way" but still enough to have a variety of restaurants, shops and all sorts of services. We will 100% be returning to Ischia... most likely more than once and more than twice.

    Visiting Ischai with a car was challenging.

    Visiting Ischai with a car was challenging. We pre booked the Ferry but still needed to exchange our reservation for a ticket. We struggled to locate the ticket office at the port and we couldn't get a ticket for both crossings and was only issued a ticket for the single journey so we needed to locate the ticket office both in our outbound and inbound journey which was a pain. Reversing the car onto the car ferry was also challenging. The Island is a little grubby, the architecture is in poor repair and the roads are challenging. Some of the people were friendly but in general we found the people a little rude and ignorant. Driving was also quite challenging with other drivers being very aggressive. The beaches were a little hit and miss. The beaches in the towns were busy and crowded with locals, if you moved out beyond towns you can find less crowded beaches but with basic facilities. The Island is very hilly and it was too difficult to walk anywhere we needed a car but you can hire scooters very easily on the Island. The food options were very good with Excellent Pizza - We recommend Bar Franco in Lacco Amenco it was one of the highlights our our trip - we went back twice in 4 days.

    Amazing island! Each town has its own vibe. Beaches are so nice, water is beautiful and the people are wonderful. So many restaurants, stores and activities to do. Some of what we enjoyed was La Mortella Gardens, Negombo Thermal Spa, Argoneae Castle (being bathing suits and swim right in front of the castle; make sure to read the sign about the secret that this swimming area offers- so cool). Book a boat day with West Coast Ischia - best day of our trip. Wish we stayed longer! Book

    I really like Ischia, this is my third time there.

    I really like Ischia, this is my third time there. The food is fantastic, the people, it is not pricey but still scenery as Amalfi for an example. The Ischia offers a lot, there are festivals, nightlife, beaches, tours, you can not be bored. There is a buses a lot, you do not need a car, or you can rent a e-bike to explore the island.

    Great for the thermal water baths and being not completely touristy. Can use local busses to get around. Great food. Sant Angelo, Castello Aragonese, Giardini Mortella etc are fun. However prepare for missing sidewalks. Also Capri is only a short ship ride away.

    We love Ischia!

    We love Ischia! It was not our first coming and won't be our last. Beautiful, versatile, you can do a lot, or nothing and just enjoy the view and the sea! Great for a family vacation! Delicious food, nice hotels, affordable, easy to reach.

    The hotel is set in pretty gardens which has some nice sitting areas and lovely views. We stayed in a second floor double aspect room with a large balcony. This allowed for a cooling draft to come into the room. The views were amazing, one side to the sea and one side to the stunning Castello Aragonese. The hotel is closer to the Ponte side of Ischia and to restaurants/bars there. The room was basic but spacious and the bed was comfortable. The room was cleaned every day and the cleaning staff were cheerful and helpful.

    Quaint hotel perched on top of a cliff overlooking Procida and bay of Naples — having breakfast on the terrace, with this view, is a beautiful experience. It is so peaceful — one can spend hours in and by the amazing pools. Apart from the stunning scenery, location is very good — a bit away from Ischia Porto, but walking to the centre of the town takes just 20 minutes. I spent only three days on Ischia but it feels like a long holiday — time on this magical island flows differently.

    This hotel is a true gem, managed by a wonderful staff and situated in a stunning location with a magical view of the Aragonese Castle, Vesuvius, and Procida. The restaurant has a terrace with a breathtaking view, and the food is even better. It is easy to reach the shops in Ischia Ponte but, in my opinion, the best option is to enjoy as much as possible the unique location. It is also possible to have a boat tour of Ischia with Angelo. Highly recommended activity!!!

    Hotel Villa Durruelli Resort is a fantastic hotel for a relaxing stay on Ischia. The hotel has great facilities, is clean and well located. You can book the Spa in private slots, meaning you will be able to enjoy it with out having to wait or share the facilities. From the waiting staff to the reception, service is very good and friendly.We were helped by Lorenzo who went above and beyond to facilitate our stay.
