The panoramic views from our room were spectacular, the hotel and village beautiful. The staff went out of their way to make our stay comfortable, and offered a wealth of information about what to see, where to eat, and what to do to fully appreciate the city.

The manager Tea was an excellent host. She was welcoming, helpful an thoroughly professional. The room was very clean, quiet and spacious. Loved our stay! Highly recommend and specifically Tea who went beyond her duties to make us feel comfortable.

Breakfast was excellent, and the staff was exceptional. Very friendly and flexible. The last day we had to leave hotel very early and the man serving us breakfast came that day very early just to give us breakfast.

Much bigger than I expected, a proper little house, and super central. Well equipped kitchen with food provided for a do-it-yourself breakfast. Could easily have spent longer than the 2 nights we had. Parking right outside (a reserved space for the property), which I imagine is a huge bonus in high season. Owner was v helpful and everything was very smooth!

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Ferrari. Giovanni was the perfect host. His coffee was the best in Italy. Breakfast was delicious and included delicious home made fruit tarts and about 5 different homemade jams too. Sun-rise from our balcony was spectacular. The location was excellent. it is an interesting, scenic hill town with a famous old cathedral now undergoing a major renovation that has closed it to visitors and it looks like it will remain closed for a long time, and it is the major attraction to the town other than its location perched high above the sea.

Rurally located, with a beautiful garden. Pool care. Everything equally clean near Gerace, a 10-minute drive to the beach. The room has a well-functioning air conditioner, the bathroom is perfect. You can use the common areas, including a great kitchen with all accessories. Beautifully surrounded with trees, lemons and flowers. Nice welcome, the owners speak good English, which is an exception in Calabria. Definitely recommended if you like quality, peace and nature.

Location is nicely in the middle of Gerace (although the town is so small you can hardly not be in the center of the town) which is a bit of a walk away from their car parking (like 100m or so). The place is clean and the staff helpful (even if English not spoken) and there is a nice little roof balcony (just a small balcony with some chairs) available to guests and the airco in the room worked well.

Casa Ferrari in the amazing city of Gerace is a true gem. The location overlooking the town is a dream come true. Breakfast on the balcony in the morning is a special treat with homemade preserves and fine coffee. Giovanni was a most welcoming host and went out of his way to make our stay the most wonderful experience. A true dream to experience. Grazie mille Giovanni!"

Excellent accommodation with stunning views and Simon, our charming host, provided us with a delicious breakfast which included local, seasonal fruits and fresh bakery products. He went 'the extra mile'. A hotel not to be missed.
