A True Italian Gem – Hospitality at Its Finest! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The hosts were absolutely wonderful – warm, welcoming, and genuinely eager to make our stay perfect. Communication was seamless from the start: they responded quickly to every message, offered helpful travel tips, and even picked us up from the train station so we did not have to carry our luggage in the rain. The house itself was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and full of charming Italian character. It had everything we needed and more – you can tell the hosts put real thought into every detail. We were greeted with a smile, and throughout our stay, they checked in just enough to make sure we were happy without ever being intrusive. What really stood out was how much they cared. It felt less like renting a place and more like being welcomed by old friends. If you're looking for a truly authentic and heartwarming Italian experience, this is the place to stay. Grazie mille – we can't wait to come back!

Located in a nice area of the small town, with a characteristic internal courtyard. The apartment on the ground floor is very comfortable, spacious and equipped with various appliances, orange squeezer, coffee machine, oven and microwave, in the laundry there is a washing machine, 2 smart TVs, really nothing is missing and the attention to detail of the hospitality is truly 5 stars. Perfect for families and for the dog, it's really comfortable with easy access to a small garden inside the courtyard. Two parking options: inside the courtyard with an electric lift or outside for free right in the street of the square in front. Excellent Italian pastry shop just next door. A 5-minute walk takes you to a small supermarket and not far away you can also walk to Lake Varese, where bicycles are available for rent to take a ride on the cycle path around the lake, really nice. The town offers a shopping mall with an indoor swimming pool.

This was easily the best Airbnb I have stayed in. The attention to details and thoughtfulness of the host was amazing. I truly felt like we were home as whatever we needed was provided. The home had the character of an old Italian house but with all the modern faculties and a stunning view. We loved it and hope to be back one day!

Awesome hotel in a great location. Staff was very friendly and helpfull. Breakfast was amazing! We didn't expect to get a room with a view but we had an exceptional view of the whole Varese and Monto Rosa could be seen on the clear days.

Nice, quiet and authentic hotel in an amazingly green area with a small but nice pool away from the building. Old style and with lots of personality, a library to chill in, a garden to wander, and if you don't mind squeaky floorboards in the old villa, this is the dream. Staff were reserved but friendly, we felt right at home, and the staff gave guests space to just be. Fantastic associated restaurants (both La Scuderia and O'Lac), even though the breakfast was a bit plain. The coffee at the breakfast buffet was well made, and the staff were friendly. The town was lovely, and early morning walks around the lake were wonderful. Underground parking was spacious and easy to access. Traintracks run relatively close by, but the trains are so sparse that it didn't ruin the experience.

    Good location as a base to other towns and even to Lake...

    Good location as a base to other towns and even to Lake Magiorre and Como. However the forest reserve Campo dei Fiori is a great place for hiking. Lots of hiking trails of various difficulty, and the views are amazing. Lake Varese is beautiful too, with a decent amount of walking and bike tracks around the lake.

    The older part of town and the area by the lake are walkable and charming. The residents are friendly, and the area is not very touristy. The weather was fabulous. One can walk from town directly to hiking trails.

    The property is centrally located, walking distance from the lake and Gavirate’s supermarket, laundromat, restaurants and cafes. Despite being next to a road, the double glazed windows are effective at keeping the sound out. It is air conditioned, and the bed is comfortably firm.

    Clean, nicely decorated newly refurbished apartment with all you need for a comfortable stay. Great location close to restaurants and coffee bars in a beautiful town of Gavirate. A welcoming and quickly responsive host.
