The host was very communicative and caring 🤍 The room was very clean and the greatest plus is that check-in is 24 hours in here, there is no need to arrive in a certain time. The beautiful setting outside Cassino adds to the ambiance of the guest house. We had a wonderful evening meal at the property taking the advice of the chef from the limited options. Local produce was used. Last time there we had to go into town for food - the host suggested superb restaurants! Breakfast was as before, limited but adequate. We’d stay again! Rooms were clean and functional.

    There is no easy walking access to the cruise port or terminals, you will have to book a taxi OR take a bus from the train station to the port (40e). It is confusing and not well detailed by the cruise companies - do your research. Taxi from the train station to an apartment is equally a hassle (30e minimum).

    Great location for a pre cruise stay.

    Great location for a pre cruise stay. You have to be in shape for the stairs! The setup to get in was horrendous. Room was big, bed comfortable (queen), bathroom good. It's a 4 bedroom apartment with a communal kitchen/ eating area.

    Taxi service: Worst I've ever seen or had to use! Reserved taxi for transportation from facility to cruise port on departure day - DID NO SHOW UP! Facility over 3/4 mile from any street used by taxis! Neighbors were able to contact taxi for us - prevented a disaster for us! No, I doubt I'd recommend this property/location to anyone - period! Booking.com needs to improve it's preview of properties and lot better!

    We loved the history, the restaurants, the views, the convenience to the terminal. The weather was fabulous! It was easy to walk everywhere. We even walked from the Norwegian Epic terminal to the train station on our return.

    Location was good, but there is no air conditioning, for such a hot place that is very poor as a fan is not enough to get a good night sleep, the bed sheets were very thin and not to a standard of most B &Bs, most of the miss match dishes and cups, glasses had to be cleaned first, would not recommend this place.

    Our room was a good size with all the facilities. Breakfast very basic but useful. Very clean and very looked after. The only reason I give only “fair”was the fact that the night was very noisy,because the two restaurants situated right underneath our room ,the stayed open very late at night . Was very hot weather and the lack of air on made it impossible to have the windows shut to reduce the outside noise. As a result we had a very uncomfortable sleep.

    I had a very good stay at Huguette! Simona is a very attentive host! She started by helping us to locate the building on our way in from Rome and every day she was there to give us a really good breakfast and offer us advice. The property is spotlessly clean and well equipped. It is also very well situated being both close to the station and centre of the town, as well as some great restaurants close by. The wi-fi is excellent. I would go back to Simona and Huguette if I ever come back to Civitavecchia.

    Kiko was amazing!! From the time we arrived, he made us feel so welcome. This hotel is a must if you are leaving on a cruise. We traveled to the port from Rome the afternoon before our cruise left. Kiko is so helpful in organising the transfer to the cruise terminal on the morning of our cruise. It was all so seamless. The hotel is amazingly clean and comfortable and the breakfast was beautiful. Cogratulations Kiko on presenting such a wonderful hotel. We would rate it a 12 out of 10 if we could.

    Ideal for a short stay. Location fabulous - less than five minute walk to Civitavecchia train station which is great when travelling into Rome each day. If you're staying here due to a cruise holiday and need a room close to the port for a night or two, you won't go far wrong with this one as it does the job. Rooms are spacious and clean, good TV access and room cleaned daily. Breakfast was very nice and reasonably priced.

    I was much than happy to stay this place before my cruise. Civitavecchia is a familiar town to me, but this time I spent a night in the city. The Gallery Suite is a small treasure. Working as a Travel Journalist, this small place is now one of my favorite places to stay. The service was a high class and you feel that you are more than just an other hotel guest. I will come back to this place again one day!
