Authentic place, you feel fully immersed in the the Italian life of the 19th century, original decorations and furniture are amazing, but beds and bath are modern and very comfortable. The staff are absolutely adorable and very helpful. Great attention to the clients and famous Italian hospitality ❤️

The building is brand new and equipped to the highest standards. The rooftop terrace is fantastic- a 360 degree view on the lake panorama. The staff is without exception welcoming, attentive and kind. Spacious and free parking. The hotel is just across the street from the boat lines leaving for the islands.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and I must say it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. I would rate it a solid 10 out of 10. First and foremost, the hotel staff were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. Their professionalism and friendliness made me feel right at home. They went above and beyond to ensure all my needs were met during my stay, and their attention to detail was truly remarkable. The room I stayed in was not only comfortable but also impeccably clean and well-maintained. The design and decor were modern and stylish, creating a cozy atmosphere. One of the highlights of my stay was the breathtaking view from my room. Waking up to the scenic beauty outside my window was truly a delight. The view added an extra layer of charm to my overall experience. The hotel's amenities and services were also top-notch. From the delicious meals at the on-site restaurant to the efficient room service, every aspect of my stay was well taken care of. In summary, I can recommend this hotel enough. Nice boutique hotel with just 12 rooms. It is bang on the lake promenade and the location couldn't be better . we were shown to our room quickly even though we arrived early. Neat well laid out approaches, polite staff . The room was like a suit with a nice large sitting room small balcony and attached kitchenette. The breakfast was decent and well served. We were vegetarians so the hotel too some special care to provide us with extra fruits, cheese etc. surely we will come back to this hotel again.

I love this hotel! The staff is very helpful, polite, talkative and kind. The view from the room was amazing. Very comfortable bed and beautiful bathroom. The hotel is very old-kind-exclusive, so you can feel a bit like James Bond (Sean Connery style). Breakfast was delicious and once again - the service will make you feel like royalty. I must say - It was our first time in northern Italy and I have to admit that there is a different, calmer and friendlier atmosphere here than, for example, in Rome or on the Amalfi coast. An ideal place to relax. Grazie mille!

It was a wonderful week. Very well located near Laveno Center of east side of Lago Maggiore. Biggest adventure is the train station with direct train to Milano. In the village of Cittiglio are some very good restaurants where you can eat on low price level. The appartment is not so far from the Lago but not in a overloaded touristic area.
