This hotel is incredible, a throwback to another more stylish era when people had more chance to sit down and talk over a long breakfast, with local honey and home baked bread. I've given this hard to get to hotel top marks for location as coming from Radda, as we did, the drive is very steady on a bumpy dirt road, but when you get there it is a serene paradise that would not be the same without the remoteness. Dinner in this hotel is a must, full of flavour and served with Chianti by waiters who are attentive and appreciative.

The location was really nice in a small village with a nice view from the window. The apartment has everything you need for cooking and they even provided coffee and some small snacks. Unlike the earlier reviews, we didnt have any problems with the wifi. It was not the strongest but definitely enough your usual daily use

Palazzo Leopoldo Dimora Storica & Spa is a beautiful historic hotel located in the charming old town of Radda in Chianti. The hotel is wonderfully designed as a whole, offering excellent services. Perched on a hilltop, it boasts stunning views over the rolling hills of Tuscany. We stayed in the Suite Leopold, which was very spacious and beautifully decorated, featuring plenty of historical details of the building. The suite had comfortable beds and offered excellent value for money. Small dogs are also warmly welcome to stay. The hotel also features a lovely sun terrace with two jacuzzi, which can be reserved for private use for two hours – a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the Tuscan sunshine. Guests also have access to a swimming pool located about five kilometres away, as well as to the hotel’s own indoor pool and spa facilities. Breakfast was tasty and varied, with eggs, bacon, cheeses, cold cuts, three types of juice, bread, delicious sweet pastries, jams, fresh fruit, and a tasty avocado spread for bread. The cappuccino was excellent and served to the table. The staff throughout the hotel were excellent and attentive, and the cleanliness was of a high standard. There is also a large free parking area, which is a great advantage. I warmly recommend Palazzo Leopoldo Dimora Storica & Spa to anyone visiting the area!

The place was great. View was blocked by some trees but overall it was right in the middle of nature. Amazing Cabins. Dinner was great especially their Gnocchi, Pizza and Deserts are wonderful and I recommend to try.

The road access to the property was disastrously dangerous...

The road access to the property was disastrously dangerous and took us through fields and undrivable property. Besides that the apartment is on the second floor in a dilapidated building. There was neither WIFI nor a Washing machine. The host however mentioned that the washing machine mentioned is a public one, why would i use a public washing machine if I was staying in a private apartment .She also mentioned that the wifi worked well yesterday but did not work today .The building is old and dilapidated too.

Good location to visit Tuscany.

Good location to visit Tuscany. 1 hour drive to Firenze, 1 hour to Siena. A lot of nice villages in the neighbourhood to visit. There is small supermarket in Cavriglia but a big one in Montevarchi is only 15 minutes away.

The room was clean, well equipped with air conditioning (which is important) The view was beautiful and the surrounding area was quiet. The host also prepared anti-mosquito liquid for the guests, which was very thoughtful. Information communication is quick and comprehensive. It was a very comfortable and enjoyable stay! When comparing similar winery hotels, this one isn't the best priced, but it does give good value for money. Really good for a restful vacation.

Tenuta Toscanita is a great villa on a hill surrounded by idyllic wineyards and it has an absolutely amazing swimming pool. The view over the valley towards Cavriglia was amazing, with the sunsets were breathtaking. In front of the windows there were mosquito nets, which were necessary. The location was close to the motorway between Florence and Arezzo and a great base to visit many places in Tuscany.

This is exactly what I was looking for – a secluded location in the heart of Tuscany, perched on a hill surrounded by lush vegetation and charming, traditional buildings. The owner is incredibly friendly, and as the saying goes, “a place is made by the people who run it.” This is not a five-star hotel, but a small, cozy gem that is absolutely worth every penny.
