A very authentic and cozy hotel that has existed since 1821. On Wednesday, the atmosphere of those times, into which modern comfort is trying to break in. There are a lot of old things that give a special touch. Comfortable, clean rooms. The windows overlooked the incredibly beautiful territory of the hotel, which, by the way, occupies a very large area. Nearby is a cozy town with narrow streets, along which you can wander endlessly. We had absolutely stunning experience in Casa Lamberti! Paola and Marianna keep the level of hospitality at the amazing level from first till last minute of your stay. Clear instructions on how to get to the apartment, what we can use and what’s around we’re helpful. Apartment is well equipped. We loved it. Ultimate cleannesses, which hosts manage to keep not only before you come, but also when guests go out for a day-trip or walk. Amazing breakfast which is a bit different every day. Everything is homemade with love and care. Nature.. well, this is something we loved! The singing of nightingales, other birds and amazing view were a great addition to safe, tidy and well equipped apartments. You need a car to stay there. The place is 10-15 min drive from the nearest town, but it makes its charm outstanding!

This B&B is the perfect base for exploring the Amalfi Coast. We were warmly welcomed by Analysa and Maria — truly the best hosts you could wish for. They made us feel genuinely like guests, not just visitors. The room was clean, cozy, and fully equipped with everything we needed. It was thoroughly cleaned every day, and fresh towels were provided daily. The location is also fantastic: set in a small village within walking distance (20 minutes) of several restaurants — plenty of great options to choose from. The Amalfi Coast is also easily accessible from here. We’ll definitely be coming back!

We have been drive around Croatia,Montenegro,Bosnia and Italy for a month,this is the best apartment we have stayed so far. Very friendly and helpful owner, very easy to reach. The apartment is fully equipped, washing machine, dish washer, iron facilities...Great coffee machine and a kettle! The owner offered lots of breakfast stuff, also cooking ingredients, can't ask for more. Free parking outside building, easy to find a place. it's a very convenient place, 30 minute to pompei, also, it's easy to reach Amalfi and Positano without go through the narrow winding road. Few big supermarkets in 10 minutes drive. 5 minutes drive to the seaside, charming town Vietri Sul Mare. We wish we could stay few more day's here.

A great alternative to visit the Amalfi Coast. Laid back and accessible. Vietri is only a short 2 Euro - 8 minute bus ride from the Plaza. Cava was recommended to us by a friend and it seems to be the affordable and relaxing way to visit Amalfi.

It is medium size town, with very charming old town.

It is medium size town, with very charming old town. There is a lot of shops alongside corso (main street) . Food is amazing and very cheap, there are no tourists, but everyone is friendly. There are many restaurants and cafes, we can recomend Osteria Pupetta, where food was amazing, just as the atmosphere (the staff don't speak English, but we used google translator :) It is a great place to observe and feel how regular Italians live.

I came to Cava de' Tirreni to know the town from which my maternal ancestors emigrated from. I was not disappointed by simply wandering around. (Watch out for dog poop on the city sidewalks!) As with many cities, there appears to be a population of stray/unhomed cats in Cava and I'd like to hear that the city is working on best practices for remedying the suffering of street animals by promoting spay/neutering and fostering programs. I also only found Cava tourism brochures (including a free city map) on the last day of my stay in Cava -- at the public library and archive. It would be great if such promotional material was disseminated at all the places on Booking.com's radar.

Cava de Tirreni is a nice lively city and Corso Umberto is great with good shops and restaurants. Cava de' Tirreni is 5 minutes by train to Vietri sul Mare and the sea. Trains are clean and usually punctual. Ticket to Vietri costs 1.28 Euros per person.

This is a lovely town with a looooong history as a vacation...

This is a lovely town with a looooong history as a vacation spot for the well to do. Today, it's charming and still has much of its medieval-age architecture. We made this a home base for exploring the larger area - Pompei, Herculeum, Amalfi coast, wineries - it was a great choice and I highly recommend it.

Beautiful Italian town, with good food and facilities.

Beautiful Italian town, with good food and facilities. We ate at Osteria Nonna Maria, friendly staff and good value. Great pizza at Pizzeria Da Basilio di Trezza Basilio, mostly does take away, but very friendly.

The most hospitable stay we have had in Italy so far. Lovely people, old world hospitality, in a charming place, at the top of a hill. We were treated like everyone was happy to see us and the service level was excellent. From the decor, arrival drink, to breakfast, to the light- switches everything is well thought out and lovely. Highly recommended.
