Amazing views and fantastic service. The location can't be beat! We were able to reserve a parking spot, which was only 5 euros for the one night, but if we didn't have parking it may have been tricky to get to. But once there it's super easy to walk around town.

The staff were super friendly and really went out of their way to help - the dinner in the evening was delicious and the waitor was so helpful and kind. Good parking - spacious room. The overnight staff also very friendly and offered me coffee early in the morning

This was probably our favourite place to stay in Puglia. Location is superb. The town of Castro was a big surprise, it is beautiful (zero preparation before holiday, I must add). The hosts were caring and helpful. I cannot say enough good things about the breakfast, which was so extensive, that the next thing we ate was dinner! The hearty continental breakfast combined with the sea view is unbeatable.

The guesthouse is located in the town of Castro, which is close to many attractions of the region (Otranto, Lecce, sea coast, etc.) It is located in a modern, nicely decorated villa and has all the amenities necessary during a trip. My room was spacious and the internal bathroom was also spacious and decorated in a modern way. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty, mostly sweet with fruits (typically Italian) but with some salty elements (cheese and cold cuts) Coffee was excellent. The host was very friendly and willing to help in any way. I would definitely stay here if needed on my next trip to this region.

    Castro is a beautiful town, divided into 2 parts, hill top...

    Castro is a beautiful town, divided into 2 parts, hill top old town , 10 -15 minutes ( steep) walk to the sea. The old town is fabulous , very small and choice of good places to eat. We were happy we chose to stay in the old town as it had more atmosphere. The port is stunning, so many places to swim, no beach but lots of rocks to swim from and little stairs to get in and out of the water. You can rent umbrellas and sun beds down by the harbor, we had to as it was mid thirties temp when we were there in late July. If you have your own umbrellas it might be tricky to put them up as it is all rocks, no sand. It’s a little jewel if a town, mostly Italian locals and tourists. You won’t regret your visit!

    It is a lovely village we were lucky enough to stay while it was still quiet Like all seaside villages in Summer holidays I would imagine it would get very busy but I’m so happy to have spent time there

    Hotel La Roccia is located right in the Marina and on the waterfront. Older style hotel with a few modern additions. Excellent location and views with access to beach chairs/beach club. Room was very spacious and quite basic but good value for money. Staff were always helpful. Walking distance to great swimming spots, cafes and restaurants. You walk to the old hill top town in about 20 minutes or take the tourist train for the uphill walk.

    Everything! The kindness among the staff was extraordinary! Especially the man in the reseption (unfortunately I did not get the name) whom also was in the restaurant, was so sympathetic and kind, always a smile! The room was big with good Wi-Fi and air conditioning that worked very well. The big Terrace with the Seaview was fantastic. Parking was a plus. This is a hotel I will say gives value for money. I will definitely come back next year!
