My stay at Sotto le Stelle in the charming village of Caltabelotta was nothing short of exceptional, and much of that credit goes to our wonderful host, Giuseppe. Upon arrival, we were delighted to find that Giuseppe had upgraded us to the largest room available. It was a space that combined comfort with rustic charm, providing a cozy retreat after a day of exploration. An unexpected but much-appreciated perk was the availability of a washing machine and tumble dryer. service. These took care of all our laundry needs, allowing us more time to soak in the local culture. The breakfast spread was delightful. Fresh, local produce coupled with traditional recipes made for a great start to our day. Parking, often a headache when visiting small villages, was a breeze. Thanks to Giuseppe's clear instructions sent beforehand, we encountered no issues finding a spot for our car. In the evening, we dined at Giuseppe's restaurant, Mates. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was impeccable. The highlight of our evening was conversing with Giuseppe’s father, a gracious man who enriched our understanding of the local culture. Caltabelotta itself is a must-visit. Though the village has almost no streets, the labyrinth of stairs adds to its allure. Once you reach the cathedral at the top of the mountain, you're rewarded with panoramic views that are truly breathtaking. If you're looking for an authentic experience nestled in the hills of Sicily, Sotto le Stelle should be on your list. Highly recommended! Would I stay again? Absolutely. Would I recommend it to friends and family? Without a second thought. Thank you, Giuseppe, for making our stay a memorable one

Very friendly hosts with tips for exploring, interesting/relaxing location surrounded by olive trees (also a good starting point for exploring the western part of the island), freshly baked pastries for breakfast. Room was very clean and cosy, with big TV screen. Would definitely recommend.

Oh wow!-what a beautiful place of this earth!! So very lovely owner so helpful with everything and the apartment is the best and beauties place to stay after a long day travel. The apartment is very clean, and everything is very carefully and lovingly prepared for the guests . Very well organized. I loved the area very much, what a beautiful nature :-) (There were two of us and we wanted 2 separate rooms to sleep in, no problem in this apartment, is it so big so very comfortable ). Not to forget about the terrace ! iI’s amazing panorama ! Thank you so much for everything!

Jenka is in a beautiful hill side village full of charm and sites. Sergio the host is just magnificent, nothing is too much. Sergio met us on arrival and treated my wife, and I like part of the family. The room was amazing, and the views will live in our memories for ever. The coast and beaches are only a short drive away. If we could give a score of 11 we would have.

What a fantastic apartment. Advertised as 1 bedroom, but it is 3 floors so there are 2 double bedrooms, and a beautiful big shower in the bathroom. Great for a family. It is very modern and clean, with everything you need. Our host was very helpful. Caltabellotta is a gorgeous hilltop town, so you have to park out a little bit and walk, but it was no problem as we packed overnight bags.

One could stay the whole time in this little oasis- rooms are comfortable and very clean,breakfast is delicious,and dinners easily match best restaurants. One can reach Agrigento easily,and beach (if you really news one)is also a short drive away. Highly recommended!

The host, Rosa, was delightful and went out of her way to be kind and helpful. Very clean and characterfull house. One double accessed through the single room. One bathroom downstairs. No WiFi if that's important for you but phone signal is good. Would definitely stay again.

    it is a lovely place to visits --- but the tiny tiny ,...

    it is a lovely place to visits --- but the tiny tiny , super uphill roads are very dangerous . I have now Euro 1,100 damage to my car . The navigator will take you to tiny tiny streets and then you have to reverse back burning your clutch, closing your wing mirror , or call an helicopter to lift your car up .... ridiculous town really They should put signs what roads it is forbidden for visitors ... ( but eyh , this is Italy , they do not care as much as they should ) . Roads are very tiny , you need slim cars like they have . EG: first version of Panda Fiat , 126 Fiat car , Fiat 500 etc i was in panic with these stupid rods

    Caltabelotta is a super charming city and its worth the visit. We visited in the middle of July and didn't meet many tourists which refreshing after visiting many popular and busy sites. We felt we found a real hidden gem! Although, be prepared for a narrow and hilly ride to the city. The streets are also challenging to climb depending on your fitness level. There are only three restaurants in the city. We ate in Osteria Gulea and had such an amazing experience. The view from the terrace is great and the menu was phenomenal combined with lovely service!

    A really impressive B&B. Located in a beautiful building that has been renovated superbly whilst still maintaining plenty of historical charm. The parking is super easy as others say and Giuseppe is a great host who makes you feel very welcome. We ate at their restaurant and have to day it was the best meal we had whilst in Sicily, for a really reasonable price. We only wish we'd stayed longer and explored more of Caltabelotta, it definitely worth going a little off the beaten track for.

    The accomodation was just perfect. Very friendly owners. Although we did not speak the same language, we could communicate very well. The pool is great, with a fantastic view towards Caltabellotta. The surroundings are very nice as well, with lots of olive tree yards. Last, but not least, the beds are very comfortable! A must go for everyone doubting where to stay in Sicily.
