The location is fantastic, as you are in a beautiful and well-looked after private enclosed holiday camp area with around 30 holiday homes built in the 1970's. It's right next to a great beach with plenty of beach space (compared to popular places like Tropea). In fact, we preferred swimming here than at Tropea, although, I highly recommend that you visit Tropea (and Pizzo too). The hosts were really friendly, and they even allowed us to check-in early. Private parking is also protected within the complex.

We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely little apartment. It was very welcoming, and the owner is a truly lovely lady. The place has an authentic charm, with old-fashioned furniture that adds character — everything was very clean and cosy. You can really tell that the owner cares deeply about the home and her guests. This was, by far, the best kept boutique hotel we have been to. Spotless inside and out. The sraff are extremely kind and accomodating. We intend to make return trips here. Though Pizzo is a smaller town compared to its neighbour Tropea and others, its charm far exceeds its size. The restaurants in the piazza are like cousins that live on the same street, calling at eachother across the square and sending patrons from one spot to the next showing such a heartwarming sense of community. Yes, the tartuffi are outstanding, from artisnal gelato to the fresh nuts and coatings they use. The location is quite central to other popular tourist destinations requiring short drives or train rides to those spots without the hefty price tags or overcrowded piazzas. Overall the wirst part of the trip was having to leave. It began to feel like home very fast thanks to the staff at the hotel and in the piazza. Highly recomended.

The night staff receptionist was beyond helpful and friendly (night of Thu 10 Oct). Helped us try to find taxis and was 100% friendly. We decided to stay at the hotel after we couldn’t find a taxi back to Tropea. This is a staff member to be appreciated.
