We were moved from the Pallidio to the Belverdere prior to our arrival, which we were so pleased with having stayed there before. The staff, facilities, the cleanliness, the Breakfast and the location all make this hotel well worth the stay.

Breakfast was ok. Staff is extremely friendly. Location is perfect because it is next to old town. At niggt it is extremely quiet. Hotel is very clean. We were there only two nights but after first they changed towels and they cleaned the room even if that wasnt neccessary.

    This was (I think) my 8th trip to this town.

    This was (I think) my 8th trip to this town. I sometimes make 100's of kilometres detour to visit my favourite Italian town. This time was no exception. Partially because of Nardini (heh heh) but also because of its cultural and historical heritage, the beauty, the cheerful atmosphere ... Bassano always greets you as an old friend, if you come for just one day or stay a week ... Maybe it's because of its sad history that it makes you appreciate, enjoy and respect life so much more. I wish I could live in this town. Maybe one day ... Who knows. If one can fall in love with a town - this is the one.

    Lovely town with a rich history, beautiful suburbs and a lively city centre with plenty of food options to have all kinds of meals, from sophisticated dinners to snacks and sandwiches. Excellent pastry and ice cream shops; plus grappa stores if you like to drink. The historic bridge is a masterpiece; the river Brenta and the mountains surrounding the town make for a beautiful landscape. It's a small city that you can visit in a day but you'll discover much more if you can stay overnight.

    Bassano is a picturesque town steeped in history.

    Bassano is a picturesque town steeped in history. It has an historic wooden bridge which spans the river Brenta which flows through the town. It's well situated to reach Venice, Vicenza, Padova and Verona by excellent train or bus services. Venice is only an hour by train and the 100+ mile return journey costs about 14 Euro! You can also take a trip up into the mountains to Trento by diesel train. The historic centre is a very safe and pleasant place to walk round. There are lots of bars, restaurants, pizzerias etc in the 3 piazzas. Our favourite place to eat was Bella Capri pizzeria/restaurant.

    We were two couples, each had a floor and their own bathroom, which was great. Kitchen was typical, not amazing but fine. Stayed in May, loved the landing/patio for the view of the city and of the bridge. Loved being on the less busy side of the bridge but only one minute to the other side. Host was available, thorough, and kind. Parking is not super easy, but we found some each night just by being a bit patient.

    Definitely want to come to visit the city's museums, did not have time for them this time. city's centre is very lovely to stroll. the lady in one of the liqueurs shop near bridge was very nice. i had grappa's testing and bought several small bottles as souvenirs.

    Learned a lot about the significance of this town during WWI...

    Learned a lot about the significance of this town during WWI and WWII. Got to tour the Poli distillery which was educational. The Nardini bar was fun and we ate amazing meals. Would love to return and use this as a hub for a bike ride in the nearby hills.

    Location of the Hotel is very good. Close to Ponte Vecchio and the central plaza of Bassano Del Grappa. Were able to walk there on a daily basis and see the Poli Grappa museum, and all the restaurants and bars, and shops in the Plaza. Staff are very pleasant and helpful when asked about anything. Breakfast was in a large area with a good variety of food and excellent coffee machines for any type of coffee desired. Would highly recommend the hotel and we would definitely go back if or when we return to Bassano del Grappa.

    Da Irene is a nice, comfy one bed apartment a 10 minute walk from the train station. It is right opposite the Poli grappa museum/shop, close to bars and the Vecchio bridge is only yards away. The piazza's of Bassano del Grappa are again, only a minute or two away. Inside is comfy, with a nice livingroom, small kitchen bathroom and one bedroom. All very well appointed with all the necessary equipment for a stay. I enjoyed my stay there and Carlotta took time to give me some recommendations re local tourist sites.

    Everything was perfect form beginning to the end of our stay. Filippo was extremely helpful and friendly, he did not hesitate at all to help us with any queries. We loved the location, the cleanliness, how modern the apartment is. I will definitely book this apartment again whenever I am in Bassano del Grappa.
