What a gem ! You want to experience the Sicilian lifestyle you have to try this place . We came with our 5 year old and 2 large dogs and felt like I was staying with family . The place is surrounded by peaceful green landscape yet very accessible to Taormina ( 1hr ) ,Sicilia outlet village ( 50min), Ikea (45 min ) . The host Barbara and Placido just welcomed us with arms and helped us immensely to get around and where always ready to jump in and help us . We could leave the dogs behind at house in their beautiful gated landscape while we went out for the day for which the dogs were in heaven . The place was impeccably clean and beautifully kept , great wifi and all the full amenities … all whilst being 97% self sufficient. Yes they grow all their veggies , solar energy and all . We initially booked one night and ended up staying 5 ! Can’t find words to praise this place any further as you need to experience it to understand the sense of hospitality this place offers . The owner was super nice: we had problem with the car renting and he offered us help, he reserved parking place for us, the apartman was wonderful, very clean, in the middle of the old town, everything was like feeling home and he left pasta and tomato sauce so we had supper arriving late in the night. Tea, coffee: we can make for us. It is very close to Etna by car. We will go back for longer time! Thank you!

We stayed at the apartment for two days and had a pleasant experience. The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a short stay. The location was great, and communication with the host was smooth. Great option for a quick getaway
