You simply could not ask for a better place to stay. Everything about Malania and this place is beyond warm and generous. Comfort and relaxation is so easy here with a full apartment style set up and of course, the beautiful penthouse balcony that overlooks the sea and the city. Check in as great, and you could tell how proud and genuinely welcoming Malania was. Would highly recommend, and the parking was great! Walking distance to the little town and some great pizza and a supermarket, which was handy.

Gina is a wonderful host, very kind and helpful. She made us feel so welcome. Each morning she prepared for us a fantastic breakfast with fresh pastries and lots of other things. The room and bathroom were a good size and had everything we needed and was sparkling clean. The great location in the centre of Aci Castello and the lovely homey feeling make of La Castellese a must stop when visiting the nearby towns.

It was a very clean, big and lovely decorated flat with an amazing view! Addiontionally in a quiet neighborhood with very kind neighbors. Camilla was lovely as well, always helping and very easy to reach/ communicate with. We loved it and would like to come back some time!

Really nice and friendly hosts. The apartment is spacious with fully-equipped kitchen. Everything you need for a stay with kids. Very comfortable beds where you can sleep well all night :) A big advantage is a huge, sunny terrace where you can have your breakfast or coffee in the morning :) The place was clean which is very important for me. The aparment is located in a quiet area, on a dead-end street where only a few neighours come to park their cars, so the neighbourhood is really quiet. I wouldn't hestitate to rent this apartment again in the future.

Beautiful, spacious, well thought out, comfortable, easy to get to by car, generally comfy and well looked after. The neighbours were friendly too and the area felt very safe especially as it has a gate. Good parking too! It was ten mins from lovely little seaside villages and beaches and there were local bakeries and shops which were lovely. Maria and Alfredo were so friendly, helpful and accommodating during our stay. They were nearby to help at any time. Thank you for a lovely stay, we really enjoyed it!

    Very beautiful quiet place! The sea is clean and beautiful. Nearby is the volcano Etna. In the town there are many cafes and restaurants on the embankment. I recommend renting a canoe and a catamaran, go on an excursion to the volcano. The apartment has everything you need for a relaxing holiday, it is clean and cozy. The owner helped us with all our questions.

    We were there for 3 days in mid-February.

    We were there for 3 days in mid-February. And these were wonderful sunny days in a good place. What struck us most was the fresh fruit every day that grew on the trees - tangerines, oranges, lemons. And these are the most delicious fruits we have ever tasted. Very friendly hosts. The only thing we were not used to was that it was warmer outside than in the house. We had to constantly turn on the air conditioner. Of the minuses, the fold-out sofa is not very comfortable. Otherwise, everything is great.

    My favourite spot was having a beer at the beach kiosk. Would have loved to stay longer to explore more restaurants as we didn't manage to find a perfect one. Loved walking around in the evening and there even was the festa.

    Locals were rude and often very Arrogant and attempted to overcharge far too many times. They hope you won’t challenge them about it. My advice is , Ask how much before paying and Check your receipts and bills . The town is scruffy and dirty. The vast amounts of discarded Rubbish on the streets is difficult to ignore. Definitely would not return. Positive note : The sea view and the sunset is beautiful.

    Appartement for a reasonable price. Location is just perfect, beaches all around, trip possibilities, nice neighborhood, possibility of getting or eating around Aci Castello, appartemenet is reasonable equipped.

    Actually Frasteva is located in the town of Valverde not in Aci Castello, which is a short drive awa. It is more inland than Aci Castello and it is convenient to all of the towns that make up "Paesi Etnei", that is, the little towns on the southeastern slope of Mount Etna, which are suburbs of Catania. It is a great jumping off point for Taormina, Catania and Siracusa and is a twenty-five minute ride to the airport, depending on traffic. What makes this newly renovated and picturesque venue a perfect stay are the wonderful accomodations and the personal and cheery attention to detail given to all that stay there by its host, Stefania. She is simply an absolute pleasure to interact with. I am going there the next time I return to the Catania area and I assure anyone who stays there that they will not be disappointed.

    Sitting on the balcony overlooking the sea was great. The location of the apartment is great. The apartment is located in a cul-de-sac, so it is a very quiet place. At the same time, right in front of the apartment there is a beach and a shop also a few meters away. Bus stop again very close. The owner of the accommodation was very helpful and accommodating. He helped us with transportation from the airport. He was in touch and consulted with everything needed. On departure, he left us for accommodation until late afternoon!

    The location is great. It is very close to the sea, and there are ice facilities and restaurants that you can use in just a 2-minute walk. At night it is easy to go to Aci Castello, which is a nice lively place to spend some time, go to a nice restaurant and have a walk near the beautiful sea.

    The house is very easy to find, on the main road, very good for 1 night stay as well, for Catania Airport, because we traveled over to Palermo next day. Also easy to find parking place next to the house. well worth for this reasonable price, I would recommend!
