We arrived late evening to the reception as per the address. Then we were guided around 6 km to the land of nowhere, our initial thoughts were that we are gonna be murdered. But in the end it was an awesome experience, very beautiful place with totally new buildings, so accomodation exceeded our expectations and we enjoyed our stay! Very clean, comfortable, very good facilities.

If you follow an instruction of owner about location, then there is no problem to find. First you drive to Grimstunga for key (very easy to find on Google map) and that you continues for 7 km to your room. Room is spacious, bright and with terrasse. Kitchen has well equipment. Location is overall good, very close to ring road and close to Detifoss waterfall (east).

never met Icelanders that were friendlier - even though Icelanders in general are very friendly. it was just what they advertise at the airport: a warm welcome. The house is so beautiful, it smells nice, the view was fantastic and it was so clean. breakfast was great - slightly different than what we got everywhere else so far and we appreciated the change a lot.
